Explanation of the Fifth Chapter Explanation of the Fifth Chapter Having thus distinguished the fourth chapter, now, in order to show the fifth chapter, it is said, "From the realization of all aspects," and so on. In order to make it easy to understand that "a realization that is extremely perfect will arise," the realization and so on are taken as a prelude, and it is called the summit realization. Being extremely perfect means that one has attained the immovable ground in the manner that will be explained below. From then on, when one becomes familiar with the heat and so on that one has experienced before, realizations with twelve aspects and so on will arise. Showing these different chapters as one is to make it easy to understand where to combine these when studying. Because that necessity is seen, the heat and so on that have already been shown are also called signs and so on, and by giving them other names, the summit realization that precedes them is taught. Therefore, the word "summit" here refers to the time when it first arises gradually, and the second ground and so on, and the Dharma that has been generated and accustomed to before, because it is pure, it is supreme, so all the meanings contained in this chapter are placed on the "summit." Alternatively, "summit" refers to the heat shown in this chapter, because the heat shown here is supreme among the paths of seeing and so on that have been shown before, so it is the "summit." Thus, the realization of the summit and so on is the realization of the summit. Among them, "sign" refers to the fact that it has the twelve signs of showing outer and inner signs, so it is a "sign." By the meaning it shows, it is shown as a sign from the one who has the sign. Complete increase is because of the increase of the sixteen merits mentioned above. The so-called "certainty" is that what was experienced before but was not clear is seen very clearly here, so seeing without inversion is "certainty." Therefore, it is also called "showing." The mind completely abides is that some people have definitely realized and have no doubt about the meaning of what they have seen, that is, they completely abide in it with a single-minded state and do not seek other objects, so it is the mind completely abides. The meaning of the words is easy to understand. Now are those that are in accordance with the part of definite discrimination.

And it is shown that each one possesses four kinds of conceptualization. The hosts of antidotes are also summarized into two of the four types of conceptualization. If divided by realms, each realm has thirty-six, so generally speaking, in terms of all three realms, there are one hundred and eight conceptualizations. To show that those are abandoned here, "the conforming side" and so on are mentioned. Previously, the afflictions of the Bodhisattvas were conceptualizations. In the manner of showing this, the non-conforming side is the two types of conceptualization. There are also four types of conceptualization: the conceptualization of self-nature, such as desire and so on, and the conceptualization of antidotes, such as the perfections and so on, which become antidotes to the bad migrations, and the conceptualization of only that, such as the door of liberation, emptiness and so on, and the conceptualization of attainment, which is included in the three bodies. These should be understood from the Dharani called "Entering into Non-Conceptualization by the Noble Ones." For those, here, firstly, in terms of the path of seeing, both apprehended conceptualizations are appropriately associated with the conceptualization of antidotes, and the conceptualization of only that, and the conceptualization of attainment, and so on. Similarly, the two apprehending conceptualizations are the same as that, except that the last apprehending conceptualization is the conceptualization of antidotes that arises from the cause of the conceptualization of self-nature. The conceptualization of self-nature, such as desire and so on, has been suppressed in the six realms for countless eons. Therefore, in the path of seeing and so on, it is not necessary to strive to make those extremely thin, so those are not mentioned. Also, the four types of conceptualization in terms of the path of meditation are also appropriately associated with the conceptualization of antidotes and only that and attainment, and so on. The reason for not being the conceptualization of self-nature is as before. For those, the apprehended conceptualizations and so on are abandoned by approximation in the application stage of the two paths, because those are coarse and easy to understand. The apprehending conceptualizations and so on, the mind and mental factors in the stage of entering the two paths
