Na, and so on. Even though the wisdom arising from meditation is essentially undifferentiated, it is said to have nine different aspects due to the distinctions of conceptualizations of dissimilar aspects based on the nine grounds. This is its meaning. Third, in order to explain the summary, it is said, "The mother of the Victorious Ones and from that." This is how it is understood: Should this not simply be completely non-existent? Or, in conventional truth, does it exist as it was in the beginning? No, because it is not desired to have differences in a single essence that is without conceptualization. In the second case, if one admits dependence on otherness, then since what is depended upon are the nine aspects, how can the depender be multiple? Fourth, in order to show the function, it is said, "By the characteristic of emptiness." The meaning is: If there truly exist inconsistent aspects and antidotes, then change and accomplishment would also change. If these do not exist, then all phenomena would be without function, so what is the use of the path? Here, the answer is given by examples of the mundane and supramundane relying on conventional truth, saying, "It is not like that." If, because the entities of cause and effect are unreasonable in reality, it is said that the path has no function, then at that time there is no need to say more. Having cut off the superimposed, and since the result of the superimposed is selflessness, there is no function for it, and since the valid cognitions that grasp it, perception and inference, are merely objects of superimposition, they cannot destroy the function of the nature of reality. However, if it is said that it does not exist in name, then at that time, for lamps and so on, since there is a valid cognition that establishes it by means of direct perception, only the term of existence is reasonable for it, not negation. By meditating on the antidote that does not negate, the cessation obtained from the desired conceptualization is now also seen from one's own continuum, therefore, it is not by relying on the correct conventional truth that function is prevented. For selflessness, since there is no entity of self, how could there be any function for it? No, for self, when two indicated conceptualizations enter, whatever

Because of abiding in emptiness and accomplishing the desire of one, then one cannot refute the nature established in others. The objects of cause and effect that rely on true conventionality, because they have already been widely established in the ṭīkā (Sanskrit, Devanāgarī, टीका, IAST: ṭīkā, literal meaning: commentary) by oneself, so I will not elaborate here. Therefore, for all phenomena that are like illusions, in true conventionality, there are terms for unfavorable and opposing sides, then, the function of its reversal and manifest establishment of characteristics is just like that. Therefore, the path is not without any action. Fifth, in order to indicate the object, it is said to abide in the path of meditation. The Bodhisattva is, by the power of realizing the special path, because of obtaining inconceivable gates of liberation, therefore, for the eight kinds of objects such as birth, although following the meaning of mutual contradiction, one does not lose the benefit of oneself and others, this is the profound path of meditation. To act for the sake of obtaining the Dharma to be learned, because it is the uncommon Dharmakāya, therefore, showing it with equality is called the assembly of learners. Among them, one should speak of one's own nature and the name of its basis with equality. Among them, first, temporarily here, in order to understand the characteristics of what should be abandoned and what should be adopted, Saṃsāra and Nirvāṇa, etc., are without self-nature, one should know that the imputation of false discrimination, the inverted equality, is just a name such as that. Secondly, again, if one does not observe the objects of the terms that rely on what can accomplish and what can harm, then one should know that, due to the force of habituation of inversion from beginningless time, the behavior of the world is the name of conventionality. Tenth, the characteristic of acting for the sake of the Rūpakāya, declaring the pure land, is the equality of both, easy to understand. Eleventh, declaring acting for the sake of others, is one's own Buddha-field purification. Because it is the nature of acting for the sake of others, therefore, one should speak of differences, objects, and one's own nature, etc. Among them, in order to manifest with the nature of the path, therefore, it is said the ten Bhūmis and omniscience.

Because it is perfected by being encompassed by the three wisdoms, it is the Perfection of Wisdom, and by accomplishing non-abiding Nirvana itself, skillful means is like the detailed distinction of other's benefits in order, as well as the object and one's own nature. The thought is this: proclaiming the manifest realization of the object, unifying the distinctions such as the object of focus, and for the three omniscient ones that should be meditated upon, generate the aspect of proclaiming the manifest realization of all aspects. And in those aspects, generate by making the object as the object of focus, and taking the causes that do not arise, abandoning is the preliminary, the practice represented by knowing the characteristics is diligence. At that time, it also necessarily has names such as being in accordance with the decisive part, the excellent path that is different due to the distinctions of small, medium, and large, is completely pure, which is that all the teachings to be learned are completely perfected. After that, with the nature of equality, the Dharmakaya as the master, with the Form Body shown by the pure Buddha-field, the benefit of sentient beings thrown by skillful means is accomplished, this is called being mastered by the practice that makes all the dharmas encompassed by the three wisdoms become free. The fourth chapter ends. Fourth chapter.
