Explanation of the Third Chapter. Explanation of the Third Chapter. Explaining "All Dharmas" etc., it elucidates "Omniscience." Explaining the verses of "This Shore" etc., it is "Three Times" etc. The dharmas of the three times refer to form etc. that exist in the three times. With the aspect of non-arising, that is, realizing the non-arising of dependent origination as equality, that is, knowing it as one. The Prajnaparamita approached by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, what they desire, that is, the nature of non-dual wisdom abiding in one's own mind, is not that of Shravakas etc. Because they have habits of clinging etc., they do not have pervasive unborn wisdom. "All Times" etc. have been stated. Not abiding anywhere, that is, "This Shore" etc. The Prajnaparamita of the sons of the Victorious One, the edge of this shore is Samsara, because it is traveled and seen by ordinary beings etc., therefore it does not abide at the edge of existence and does not manifest. Why? Because of wisdom, that is, because of knowing the Dharma of Prajnaparamita etc. by hearing etc. without inversion. The edge of the other shore is Nirvana, because it is not to be traveled or seen by ordinary beings etc., therefore it does not abide in distant Nirvana. Why? Because of compassion, that is, because of compassion focused on all sentient beings. Eliminating existence and peace in other ways, that is, in order, by viewing self and not viewing self, existence and Nirvana become the nature of permanence and annihilation. Not abiding between the two, that is, in reality, because there is no existence or peace, therefore there is no between either. Thus, what is Prajnaparamita? Thus, because existence and Nirvana do not abide at the edge and in the middle, therefore existence and peace

It is non-abiding. Not having manifest attachment to existence and nirvana is said to be prajnaparamita. This explains "wisdom of" and so on. Explaining by following the mother of the Bodhisattvas, and then in reverse, the Shravakas and others do not have that, which is called "all-knowing" and so on. The so-called "state of all-knowing" means that it is shown by reversing the dominance of all-knowing, therefore it is explained from the perspective of Bodhisattvas in a reversed way. Because the Shravakas and others do not know the equality of the three times, it is said that they do not know the objects existing in the three times as unborn. Being far from the true prajnaparamita means abandoning the knowledge of non-attachment to all manifestations, because it is the nature of knowing the unborn of objects of the three times. Thus, it is only self-realization. Because the prajnaparamita of the essence of one's own awareness lacks compassion and wisdom. Because of being afraid of seeing objects in nirvana. Nirvana is the nature of annihilation, and samsara also passes from one delusion to another, similarly generating the view of permanence, abiding and manifestly entering into it. Why is that? Because of clinging to existence and non-existence. Because its doctrine is permanent, the ultimately existing existence is nirvana. In the manner of impermanence and so on, because those are to be abandoned, existence is non-existence. These are known by clinging. Or, because reality itself is reversed, the objects such as form are truly existing in reality. If reality does not exist, then there will be manifest attachment to the non-existence of its impermanence and so on, it should be understood. In either case, the Shravakas and others who have clinging are certainly attached to some objects, and even if there is prajnaparamita, there will be deterioration and so on.
