Explanation of the Fifth Chapter. Explanation of the Fifth Chapter. In order to attain complete and perfect enlightenment, the ultimate perfect realization will arise. In order to make it easy to understand, the peak realization that precedes the signs and so on as metaphors. "Even in dreams, all phenomena, are viewed as dreams, etc. The signs of yoga that has reached the peak, are considered to be twelve in number." It is said that, because of being very accustomed to it, even in the state of dreaming, one views all phenomena as being like dreams, etc., and does not generate the intention to be happy in the lands of the Hearers, etc., and sees the Tathagatas, etc., and focuses on the manifestation of the Buddha's miraculous powers, and generates the mind to teach the Dharma, and sees sentient beings in hell, etc., and remembers to abandon the lower realms in one's own Buddha-field, and the accomplishment of the blessing of truth that completely pacifies cities, etc., and the accomplishment of the word of truth that makes yakshas, etc., non-human beings non-existent, and relying on a virtuous friend who subdues others with his own clairvoyance, and studying the Prajnaparamita in all aspects, and having no manifest attachment to all phenomena, and the twelve aspects called approaching the Bodhi of the Buddha are the distinctive signs of the time of attaining the peak realization. So, how many kinds of increase are indicated by the signs? Increase. "As many beings as there are in Jambudvipa, the merit of offering to the Buddhas, etc., are spoken of with many metaphors, and possess sixteen kinds of increase." It is said that it is more excellent than offering to the Tathagatas with the number of sentient beings in the three thousand great thousand world systems such as Jambudvipa, and especially contemplating the Prajnaparamita, and obtaining the forbearance of non-arising Dharma, and not focusing on the Dharma of Bodhi and Bodhi, and the ten virtues, etc., and being more excellent than obtaining the formless samadhi, and all the gods coming near, and subduing all the Maras.

Like patience and generosity, equally abiding for beings, this is called eight kinds of merit. Also, being skilled in means in all aspects, thereby making the training completely pure; becoming the lineage of the Buddha; the cause for obtaining the fruit of Buddhahood itself; not giving rise to minds that contradict the Paramitas; not giving rise to minds that strongly realize having form, etc.; knowing the collection of all Paramitas; obtaining all perfections; and approaching perfect complete enlightenment, this is called another eight kinds of merit. Taking many examples such as the merit of offering flowers, etc., to the Buddha, the nature of the sixteen states, which is more excellent than the previous one, is growth. Thus, growing, becoming the freedom of growth, the characteristics of the ultimate are definitely stable, so they are definitely stable. The Omniscient One Of the three dharmas, complete and unsurpassed, Not abandoning the benefit of sentient beings, Is declared as steadfast. Thus it is said. Therefore, by the power of skill in correct means, in the state of realizing non-discrimination, the nature of manifesting great compassion is the characteristic of not abandoning the benefit of sentient beings. Like all omniscience, etc., as said, the three omniscient ones, completely and unsurpassed, give rise to the Dharma mind, etc., as mentioned above, are definitely stable. Thus, making it definitely stable, the characteristic of becoming definitely stable is that the mind universally abides, so it is the mind universally abides. The four continents and one thousand, Two thousand and three thousand are used as examples, By the power of many merits, The complete Samadhi is proclaimed. Thus it is said. The measure exists, it can be measured with a scale, in this way, the realms of the three thousand great thousand worlds, such as the four continents, etc., with the nature of all such as the Paramitas, as individual examples of the merit and wisdom of Samadhi, from these, the particularly surpassing and limitless merit
