Explanation of the Fourth Chapter Explanation of the Fourth Chapter Completely knowing the three kinds of omniscience is to be able to control everything, and through collecting all aspects, paths, and bases, to practice the three kinds of omniscience. Therefore, all aspects can be completely and perfectly realized. The various differences of the base wisdom are called "aspects," which are its characteristics. Because omniscience has three kinds, therefore, aspects are also considered to be three kinds. Thus it is said. Establishing the nature of the antidote to the unfavorable aspects of clinging to permanence, etc., that is, the various differences of wisdom that take impermanence, etc., as their objects, as aspects, is its characteristic. These aspects are also only considered to be the differences of the three kinds of omniscience. After generally showing the aspects, now it is a special display. Starting from the aspect of non-existence, up to the aspect of immovability, there are four each on the respective truths, and fifteen are said on the path. Thus it is said. Among them, in terms of omniscience, the twelve aspects of non-existence, unborn, peaceful, indestructible, without place, emptiness, unspeakable, nameless, without action, unseizable, inexhaustible, and unborn, are respectively the nature of impermanence, etc., of the three truths of suffering, etc. As an antidote to the obscuration of afflictions, it is one of the undefiled paths. Since omniscience also includes self-realized Buddhas, therefore, in order to become the antidote to their obscuration of knowledge, there are two kinds of paths to be practiced, the defiled path and the undefiled path, so there are three kinds of aspects of the path. Among them, the first is the aspect of no maker, no knower, no transfer, and no tamer, these four are respectively the nature of the path, etc. The second is the aspect of dream, image, cataract, mirage, and illusion, these five are respectively the nature of no self-nature, unborn, unceasing, originally peaceful, and self-nature nirvana, in general, they become the antidote to the obscuration of knowledge. The third is without any afflictions

And, without complete purification, without contamination, without elaboration, without arrogance, and the aspect of immovability. These six are, in order, the definite antidotes to all the afflictions of the obscuration of knowledge, as well as complete purification, as well as the habitual tendencies of afflictions, as well as elaborations such as form, as well as one's own realization, and the completely deteriorated conceptualizations. Thus, the truth of the path has fifteen aspects, and in general, the aspects of all-knowingness are twenty-seven. After that, the aspects of the knowledge of the path. "Cause and path and suffering, Extinction is in order four. Those eight and seven, Five and sixteen are proclaimed." Thus it is said. Relying on all afflictions and the other side's momentum, the truths of accumulation and path are the cause, and the truths of suffering and cessation are the result, showing from the perspective of meaning, the truths of accumulation and path, suffering and cessation, according to number, have eight aspects, etc., should be understood. Among them, detachment from desire, non-abiding, peace, non-desire, non-hatred, non-ignorance, non-affliction, the aspect of non-sentient beings, are in order, what is the cause, namely desire, greed, joy, what is the origin, namely desire, hatred, ignorance, what is extreme arising, namely conceptual thought, what is the condition, namely attachment to sentient beings. The antidotes to these, three, three, one and one, thus, the truth of the cause has eight aspects. Immeasurable, unrelated to the two extremes, non-different, without grasping at the supreme, non-conceptualizing, immeasurable, the aspects of non-attachment, are in order, the path that opens opportunities for all sentient beings, how to open opportunities for all sentient beings, what is the reason, how is it the reason, what is the accomplishment, how is it the accomplishment, what is the definite arising, those natures.
