will obtain the name of perfection. Subhuti, for example, various different bodies, if they go before Mount Sumeru, the king of mountains, will become one color. Subhuti, likewise, relying on the Perfection of Wisdom, these five perfections will also obtain the name of perfection, and they will also go to omniscience. Thus, they will become one color, the color of omniscience. This is the Perfection of Giving, this is the Perfection of Ethics, this is the Perfection of Patience, this is the Perfection of Diligence, this is the Perfection of Meditation, this is the Perfection of Wisdom, there is no difference whatsoever. Why is that? Just like that, because it is without intrinsic nature, therefore there is no difference. Question: Bhagavan, if there is no difference or distinction in following the meaning, then why is the Perfection of Wisdom called the most excellent of those five perfections? Predominant? Supreme? Excellent? Outstanding? Abundant? Unsurpassed? Unequaled? Incomparable? Unequal and equal? The Bhagavan said: Subhuti, it is just so, it is just so. For things to be attained in accordance with the meaning, there is no difference or distinction in any dharma. However, relying on worldly conventions and common parlance, for the sake of completely liberating beings from samsara, there is also the Perfection of Giving, and there is also the Perfection of Ethics, the Perfection of Patience, the Perfection of Diligence, the Perfection of Meditation, and the Perfection of Wisdom. For those beings, there is also no birth, no death, no transference, no arising. Because there are no beings, therefore one should understand that all dharmas are nonexistent. Subhuti, therefore, the Perfection of Wisdom is called the most excellent of these five perfections, called predominant, called supreme, called excellent, called outstanding, called abundant.

Named as excellent, named as unsurpassed, named as unequaled, named as incomparable and equal. Subhuti, for example, among all the women in Jambudvipa, the jewel woman is the most excellent, the foremost, the supreme, the sacred, the outstanding, the wealthy, the unsurpassed, the unequaled, the incomparable and equal. Asked, "Bhagavan, how do you consider the Perfection of Wisdom to be excellent, foremost, supreme, sacred, outstanding, wealthy, unsurpassed, unequaled, and incomparable and equal?" The Blessed One said, "Subhuti, it is because this Perfection of Wisdom completely holds all virtuous dharmas and abides in the nature of knowing all aspects in a non-abiding manner. This is called the conceptualization of following aspects. These are the second conceptualizations of apprehended aspects, which explain nine aspects. Asked, "Bhagavan, does the Perfection of Wisdom hold or abandon any dharma?" The Blessed One said, "Subhuti, it is not so. The Perfection of Wisdom does not hold or abandon any dharma. Why? Subhuti, it is because all dharmas are neither held nor abandoned. Asked, "Bhagavan, how does the Perfection of Wisdom not hold or abandon all dharmas?" The Blessed One said, "Subhuti, the Perfection of Wisdom does not hold or abandon form. Subhuti, the Perfection of Wisdom does not hold or abandon feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. Subhuti, the Perfection of Wisdom does not hold or abandon the sense bases, elements, and dependent origination. Subhuti, the Perfection of Wisdom

The perfection, that is, all perfections, and all emptiness, and the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, are not held or abandoned. Subhuti, the perfection of wisdom is the noble truths, and the meditations, and the immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, and the liberations, and the nine successive abidings, and emptiness, and signlessness, and wishlessness, and clairvoyance, and samadhi, and the doors of dharani, are not held or abandoned. Subhuti, the perfection of wisdom is the ten powers, and the four fearlessnesses, and the four analytical knowledges, and great love, and great compassion, and the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, are not held or abandoned. Subhuti, the perfection of wisdom, up to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, is not held or abandoned. This is the discrimination of holding and abandoning. Question: Blessed One, how is form not held or abandoned? How are feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness not held or abandoned? How is it that even omniscience is not held or abandoned? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, because form is not taken to mind, form is not held or abandoned. Because feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are not taken to mind, consciousness is not held or abandoned. Because the sense bases, the elements, and dependent origination are not taken to mind, dependent origination is not held or abandoned. Because all perfections, and all emptiness, and the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment are not taken to mind, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment are not held or abandoned. The noble truths, and the meditations, and the immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, and the eight liberations, and the nine successive abidings, and emptiness, and signlessness, and wishlessness, and clairvoyance
