Furthermore, consciousness does not exist. Likewise, whatever is permanent or impermanent, pleasant or painful, self or selfless, beautiful or unbeautiful, thus separate, as well as the aggregated skandhas, elements, sense bases, dependent origination, perfections, factors of enlightenment, noble truths, meditations, immeasurables, formless absorptions, eight liberations, nine successive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, clairvoyance, all emptinesses, all samadhis, all dharani gates, the ten powers of the Tathagata, fearlessnesses, individual perfect knowledges, unshared qualities of the Buddha, up to all-knowingness, saying that these do not exist is the practice of impermanence and so forth of form and so on. The thirty-ninth chapter. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, if he does not practice with regard to form being completely perfect or not perfect, then he is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. If he does not practice with regard to feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness being completely perfect or not perfect, then he is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Likewise, if he does not practice with regard to separate, aggregated skandhas, elements, sense bases, dependent origination, and the limbs of dependent origination being completely perfect or not perfect, then he is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Likewise, if he does not practice with regard to all the perfections, all emptinesses, all samadhis, and all dharani gates being completely perfect or not perfect, then he is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Likewise, if he does not practice with regard to the mindfulnesses, the perfect abandonments, the miraculous feet, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the paths being completely perfect or not perfect.

If one does not act in this way, then one is acting in the Perfection of Wisdom. Likewise, if one does not act with regard to the noble truths, the immeasurables, the meditations, the formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine successive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, and the superknowledges, saying, "They are unfulfilled" or "They are fulfilled," then one is acting in the Perfection of Wisdom. Likewise, if one does not act with regard to the ten powers of the Thus-Gone One, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, saying, "They are unfulfilled" or "They are fulfilled," then one is acting in the Perfection of Wisdom. Up to and including all-knowingness, if one does not act saying, "They are unfulfilled" or "They are fulfilled," then one is acting in the Perfection of Wisdom. Why is that? Because whatever form is unfulfilled or fulfilled, that is not form. If one does not act in that way either, then one is acting in the Perfection of Wisdom. Feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness, if they are unfulfilled or fulfilled, then that is not consciousness. If one does not act in this way, then one is acting in the Perfection of Wisdom. Up to and including all-knowingness, if it is unfulfilled or fulfilled, then that is not all-knowingness. If one does not act in that way either, then one is acting in the Perfection of Wisdom. Thus, what is said is the combination of form and so on, unfulfilled and fulfilled. Thus it was spoken. Then the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One, "Blessed One, it is wonderful that the Thus-Gone One has so well taught the attachment and non-attachment of these Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas." The Blessed One said to Subhuti, "Subhuti, it is so, it is so. The Thus-Gone One, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, has well taught the attachment and non-attachment of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas. Furthermore, Subhuti, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, the Perfection of Wisdom

When practicing, if one does not practice with attachment or non-attachment to form, then that is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. If one practices with attachment or non-attachment to feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness, then that is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. If one does not practice with attachment or non-attachment to the eye, then that is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Similarly, if one does not practice with attachment or non-attachment to the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind, then that is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Similarly, if one does not practice with attachment or non-attachment to the elements, sources, and the Perfection of Giving, then that is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Similarly, if one does not practice with attachment or non-attachment to ethics, patience, diligence, meditation, and the Perfection of Wisdom, then that is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Similarly, if one does not practice with attachment or non-attachment to the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the noble truths, the immeasurables, the meditations, and the formless absorptions, then that is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. If one does not practice with attachment or non-attachment to emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, the superknowledges, and all emptinesses, then that is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices in this way, then there is no distinguishing between attachment and non-attachment to form. There is no distinguishing between attachment and non-attachment to feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness. Similarly, aggregates,
