Definitely proceeding towards the state of omniscience. Definitely proceeding towards the state of omniscience. The Perfection of Wisdom in Twenty-five Thousand Lines, Chapter Twenty-six. The speaker said: "Venerable Subhuti, what is it that you do not wish to arise, the unarisen dharma to arise?" Subhuti said: "Venerable Sariputra, I do not wish form, which is unarisen and empty of inherent existence, to arise. Venerable Sariputra, I do not wish feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness, which are unarisen and empty of inherent existence, to arise. Venerable Sariputra, I do not wish the sense bases, the elements, the dependent origination, all the perfections, all the emptinesses, the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, the meditations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the superknowledges, the powers of the Tathagata, the fearlessnesses, the separate perfect knowledges, and the unshared qualities of the Buddhas, which are unarisen and empty of inherent existence, to arise. Venerable Sariputra, I do not wish even the state of omniscience, which is unarisen and empty of inherent existence, to arise." The speaker said: "Venerable Subhuti, does the arisen arise, or does the unarisen arise?" Subhuti said: "Venerable Sariputra, the arisen does not arise, and the unarisen also does not arise. Why is that? Venerable Sariputra, in this way, these two dharmas, the arisen and the unarisen, are neither concordant nor discordant, neither with form nor invisible, without obstruction, of one characteristic, that is, without characteristic. Venerable Sariputra, for that reason, the arisen also does not arise, and the unarisen also does not arise. Venerable Sariputra, for that reason, the speaker is unborn, eloquence is unborn. Dharma is unborn. From what source do the dharmas of speaking with eloquence arise? Those too are unborn." The speaker said: "Venerable Subhuti is the most excellent among those who speak the Dharma, Why is that? This

Thus, the venerable Subhuti is unimpeded in whatever he is asked. Subhuti said: Venerable Sariputra, those disciples of the Blessed One who dwell in all dharmas without abiding, they are unimpeded in whatever they are asked. Why is that? Because all dharmas are without abiding. He said: Venerable Subhuti, how are all dharmas without abiding? Subhuti said: Venerable Sariputra, form is empty of its own nature; it does not abide within, nor does it abide without, nor is it perceived as being without both. Venerable Sariputra, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are also empty of their own nature; they do not abide within, nor do they abide without, nor are they perceived as being without both. Venerable Sariputra, the eye is empty of its own nature; it does not abide within, nor does it abide without, nor is it perceived as being without both. Venerable Sariputra, the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind are also empty of their own nature; they do not abide within, nor do they abide without, nor are they perceived as being without both. Venerable Sariputra, the perfection of giving is empty of its own nature; it does not abide within, nor does it abide without, nor is it perceived as being without both. Venerable Sariputra, the perfection of morality, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom are also empty of their own nature; they do not abide within, nor do they abide without, nor are they perceived as being without both. Venerable Sariputra, inner emptiness is empty of its own nature; it does not abide within, nor does it abide without, nor is it perceived as being without both. The emptiness of the essence of non-things up to own-nature emptiness is empty of its own nature; it does not abide within, nor does it abide without, nor is it perceived as being without both. As for the self, it does not abide within, nor does it abide without, nor is it perceived as being without both. The right abandonments, the feet of miracles, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path are empty of inherent existence. It does not abide within, nor does it abide without, nor is it perceived as being without both. The meditations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the superknowledges, the samādhis, the doors of dhāraṇī, the powers of the Thus-Gone One, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha are empty of inherent existence. It does not abide within, nor does it abide without, nor is it perceived as being without both. Venerable Śāriputra, even all-knowingness is empty of inherent existence. It does not abide within, nor does it abide without, nor is it perceived as being without both. Venerable Śāriputra, therefore, all phenomena are not perceived because of being empty of inherent existence. Venerable Śāriputra, a bodhisattva mahāsattva, by practicing the six perfections, should thus thoroughly train in form. Feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness should be thoroughly trained. Likewise, the individual and collective sources, elements, and dependent arising should be thoroughly trained. The perfections, all emptiness, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the meditations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the superknowledges, the samādhis, the doors of dhāraṇī, the ten powers of the Thus-Gone One, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and even the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha should be thoroughly trained. To thoroughly train even in all-knowingness means to definitely enter into all-knowingness. Then, Venerable Śāriputra
