The ten powers of the Thus-gone, and the fearlessnesses, and the separate correct knowledges, and the eighteen unmixed dharmas of the Buddhas are also not born. Even up to the all-knowingness is not born, ordinary beings are also not born. The dharmas of ordinary beings are also not born. Stream-enterers are also not born. The dharmas of stream-enterers are also not born. Once-returners are also not born. The dharmas of once-returners are also not born. Non-returners are also not born. The dharmas of non-returners are also not born. Arhats are also not born. The dharmas of arhats are also not born. Solitary Buddhas are also not born. The dharmas of solitary Buddhas are also not born. Bodhisattvas are also not born. The dharmas of Bodhisattvas are also not born. Buddhas are also not born. The dharmas of Buddhas are also not born. O venerable Subhuti, thus, if form is also unborn, even up to the eighteen unmixed dharmas of the Buddhas are also unborn. Even up to the all-knowingness is also unborn. Ordinary beings are also unborn. The dharmas of ordinary beings are also unborn. Stream-enterers and the dharmas of stream-enterers are also unborn. Once-returners and the dharmas of once-returners are also unborn. Non-returners and the dharmas of non-returners are also unborn. Arhats and the dharmas of arhats are also unborn. Solitary Buddhas and the dharmas of solitary Buddhas are unborn. Bodhisattvas are also unborn. The dharmas of Bodhisattvas are also unborn. Buddhas are also unborn. The dharmas of Buddhas are also unborn, then the Hearer Vehicle practitioners will also have already attained the fruit of stream-entry, and the fruit of once-return, and the fruit of non-return, and the state of Arhatship. The Solitary Buddha Vehicle practitioners will also have already attained the Bodhi of Solitary Buddhas. Bodhisattva Mahasattvas will also have already attained all-knowingness. The five destinies of beings will also not be different. Bodhisattva Mahasattvas will also have already attained the five Bodhis. O venerable Subhuti, if all dharmas are also un-

If not, why does a Stream-enterer cultivate the path in order to abandon the three bonds? A Once-returner cultivates the path in order to thin out desire, hatred, and delusion. A Non-returner cultivates the path in order to abandon the five bonds corresponding to the lower part. An Arhat cultivates the path in order to abandon all the bonds corresponding to the upper part. One who enters the vehicle of a Solitary Buddha cultivates the path for the sake of self-awakening. Why does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva now experience suffering and practice difficult practices for the sake of sentient beings? Why does the Tathagata manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment? Why does the Tathagata turn the wheel of Dharma? Having said this, the Venerable Subhuti said to the Venerable Shariputra: Venerable Shariputra, I do not desire to attain or realize the unarisen Dharma. I do not desire to enter the stream of the unarisen. I do not desire the fruit of stream-entry. I do not desire the once-returner of the unarisen. I do not desire the fruit of once-returning. I do not desire the non-returner of the unarisen. I do not desire the fruit of non-returning. I do not desire the Arhat of the unarisen. I do not desire the fruit of Arhatship. I do not desire the Solitary Buddha of the unarisen. I do not desire the Solitary Buddha itself. Venerable Shariputra, I do not desire that a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practice difficult practices. A Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not practice with the perception of difficulty either. Why is that? Venerable Shariputra, abiding in the perception of suffering, one cannot accomplish the benefit of immeasurable, countless, and limitless sentient beings. However, Venerable Shariputra, if one generates the perception of a mother, the perception of a father, the perception of oneself, and the perception of a child towards all sentient beings, one can accomplish the benefit of immeasurable, countless, and limitless sentient beings.

And it can be done. That is also in a non-objective way. A Bodhisattva Mahasattva generates the mind in this way. Just as one says "I, I," that is without and non-objective in all places, at all times, in all ways. Similarly, one generates understanding of both internal and external dharmas. Although one generates understanding in this way, one does not generate a difficult understanding. Why is that? Like this, one does not take any dharma, because it is non-objective. Shariputra, endowed with life, I do not desire to be a Tathagata in the unarisen. Nor do I desire the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Nor do I desire to turn the wheel of Dharma. Nor do I desire to obtain the unarisen by the unarisen dharma. Said: Shariputra, endowed with life, is the arisen obtained by the unarisen dharma, or is the unarisen obtained by the arisen dharma? Subhuti said: Shariputra, endowed with life, I do not desire to obtain the unarisen by the arisen dharma, nor do I desire to obtain the arisen by the unarisen dharma. Said: Shariputra, endowed with life, then is there no attainment and no realization? Subhuti said: Shariputra, endowed with life, there is attainment and there is realization, but they are not two. Shariputra, endowed with life, attainment or realization is designated by worldly convention. Stream-enterer, or once-returner, or non-returner, or Arhat, or Pratyekabuddha, or Bodhisattva, or Buddha, are also designated by worldly convention. Ultimately, there is no attainment, no realization, no stream-enterer, no once-returner, no non-returner, no Arhat, no Pratyekabuddha, no Bodhisattva, and no Buddha. Shariputra said: Subhuti, endowed with life, can one speak of the unarisen dharma, the unarisen dharma? Subhuti said: Shariputra, endowed with life, do you have confidence in speaking of the unarisen dharma, the unarisen dharma? Saying this, Shariputra, endowed with life, I do not have the confidence to speak of the unarisen dharma. Why is that? Shariputra, endowed with life,
