The venerable Subhuti said this: "World Honored One, all that is manifestly accumulated is entirely conceptualized," as the World Honored One has said, and so on, has been shown. In the ultimate sense, immeasurable merit and so on are not perceived, but in the conventional sense, with compassion as the cause, the arising of immeasurable merit and so on is also read in the sutra. Subhuti asked: "World Honored One, what is the difference between countless, immeasurable, and boundless? What is the difference in making them distinct?" This and so on have been shown. The sutra also refutes that which cannot be expressed, saying that there is no decrease and no increase. Having said that. The venerable Subhuti said to the World Honored One: "World Honored One, to what extent does the Thus-Gone One teach the Dharma-nature of all Dharmas, and that Dharma-nature is also inexpressible, which is wonderful." This and so on have been shown. In response, dedicating enlightenment as it is, accomplishes the desired meaning in the conventional sense. In the ultimate sense, because there is no increase or decrease, it shows that there is no fault, as the sutra says: "Subhuti, it is so, it is so. Subhuti, in the meaning that cannot be expressed, there is no increase or decrease." This and so on have been shown below. Even if that is the case, it is also argued that it cannot accomplish meaning in the conventional sense, as the sutra also refutes: "Subhuti asked: World Honored One, does the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who first generates the mind attain the unexcelled perfect enlightenment?" This and so on have been shown. In response, the analogy of the lamp shows that the eight profound Dharma-natures will be understood. The analogy is also as the sutra says: "The World Honored One said: Subhuti, in this, a wise person will know the meaning explained by the analogy, so therefore, it should be like this. In order to know the meaning explained, I will show you by analogy." This and so on have been shown. The first profound Dharma-nature is that it is neither before nor after a moment, nor is it without self-nature. Having understood this well, it generates a special meaning, which is the profound dependent origination, as the sutra also says: "The World Honored One said: Subhuti, it is so.

Furthermore, the first generation of the mind of enlightenment also shows that the Bodhisattva Mahasattva attains the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment, as shown by "not attaining," etc. It shows that things are inherently without self-nature from the beginning, and also cease in the conventional sense, which is the second point. That is, in the sutra, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, what do you think? If the mind is extinguished, will it be born again?" etc. Constantly familiarizing oneself with Suchness, but not realizing it, is the third point. In the sutra, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, what do you think? Does Suchness remain as it is?" etc. Fourth, collecting all the dharmas of the nature of Suchness in various ways such as giving, in the sutra, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, what do you think? If one practices in this way, is one practicing the profound Prajnaparamita?" etc. The fifth and sixth do not match the sutra, the sixth, not acting on everything of Dharma-nature is acting, in the sutra, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, what do you think? If one practices in this way, what Dharma is one practicing?" etc. Fifth, seeing the invisible as seeing with the self-nature of Suchness, in the sutra, Why is that? Blessed One, when the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who abides in Suchness practices Prajnaparamita, those aspects of practice do not arise, it is for the sake of universal practice. etc. Seventh, accomplishing all the non-dual self-nature, in the sutra, Having requested in this way, the Blessed One said to the venerable Subhuti: Subhuti, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices this Prajnaparamita. etc. Eighth, perfecting all accumulations, but not attaining the fruit of Buddhahood, is skillful means, in the sutra, Blessed One, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices this Prajnaparamita obtains the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, and the individual perfect knowledge.
