There are no separate sections for and meditation. Definite emergence. For the All-Knowing, the last of the ten meanings taught is also the eight paths of definite emergence: definite emergence for a specific purpose, definite emergence in equality, definite emergence for the benefit of others, definite emergence that is spontaneously accomplished, definite emergence that is free from the two extremes, definite emergence of attainment, definite emergence into the state of All-Knowing, and definite emergence through its distinctive path. Among these, the definite emergence for a specific purpose is also explained from the beginning of the eighteenth chapter to the words of the sutra: From then on, the venerable Subhuti said this to the Blessed One. The definite emergence in equality is also explained from the words of the sutra: Subhuti, where will that vehicle you speak of abide? The definite emergence for the benefit of others is also explained from the words of the sutra: From the beginning of the nineteenth chapter, from then on, the venerable Subhuti said this to the Blessed One. The definite emergence that is free from the two extremes is also explained from the words of the sutra: Subhuti, as you say, Blessed One, that vehicle does not perceive the past extreme, nor does it perceive the future extreme. The definite emergence of attainment is also explained from the words of the sutra: From then on, the venerable Maitreya's son said this to the Blessed One.
