It is shown for this reason. Being completely ignorant of the truth of suffering, etc., in any case, the meaning of suffering is shown for the reason that it should be used to understand the literal meaning. Being completely ignorant of the nature of afflictions, in any case, the meaning of desire, hatred, and ignorance is for the sake of using them. Why is that? Because the suchness of desire, hatred, and ignorance does not act on anything, nor does it act on non-things, this is to show its rationality. In this way, the use of meaning and non-meaning of all dharmas is prohibited. Why is that? Because after the Tathagata attained complete enlightenment, he did not find any dharma that could be used as meaning or meaningless, whether it is conditioned or unconditioned dharma, it does not act. Therefore, the Prajnaparamita prohibits the use of meaning and non-meaning. Since all the noble ones take the meaning of the unconditioned as meaning, its meaning is like the sky, without benefit and harm, and only by the way of non-duality of meaning and non-meaning can one obtain all-knowingness, it is shown for this reason. Non-duality is non-duality, it is the ultimate truth. Being completely ignorant of it is to prohibit obtaining the non-dual dharma with the non-dual dharma, to prohibit obtaining the dual dharma with the dual dharma, and it is said that it can be obtained when one does not cling to the dual and non-dual dharma, it is shown for this reason. Because the various distinctions of how things truly exist are elaborated, clinging to all things is the opposing aspect. Therefore, Subhuti, all-knowingness is without object, it is shown for this reason. In this way, the wisdom that relies on non-things is reasonable. Here, someone asked: Because there is no path and nirvana, will all the noble beings disappear? The answer is: everything is distinguished by the unconditioned, the unconditioned is non-arising, therefore it is considered the characteristic of the world. Why is that? Because the language of the ultimate truth itself is meaningless.

This is considered reasonable. Because the later limit is understood, the limit is completely cut off, which is what was asked. Because for the dharmas of one's own nature, not understanding its limit, therefore, for those who possess non-understanding, saying "this is shown" is the answer. Therefore, wisdom that focuses on non-things is reasonable. Precisely for this reason, the Bhagavan Bodhisattva Mahasattva, for the sake of sentient beings, correctly enters into the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, and does not fixate on the designation of sentient beings, and completely freeing oneself from clinging to sentient beings is doing difficult deeds, and so forth, this is how it is shown. After these epidemic diseases are exhausted, like exhaling a breath after a long time, for the one who benefits sentient beings in every way, who is perfect in all happiness and qualities, like rivers to a great ocean, who is heroic with excellent fruits, that great Bodhisattva, rely on him in every way. This is to say, like the example of a sapling's trunk, leaves, flowers, and abundant fruits, the Bodhisattva is the field of merit, therefore, the happiness and enjoyment of all beings are numerous, with various meanings, like a beautiful garden, heroic and beautiful with excellent fruits, such a Bodhisattva should be regarded as the Tathagata. That is because, from the suchness of all dharmas, there is the reason for obtaining the complete purification of all-knowingness, and thus, when studying in suchness Prajnaparamita, obtaining complete faculties, karma done by oneself, the wisdom of aspiration, the wisdom of time being completely purified, benefiting sentient beings, the Buddha-field being completely purified, obtaining all-knowingness, turning the wheel of Dharma, and obtaining the benefit of completely liberating sentient beings from suffering, this is how it is shown. This sutra is: Subhuti, for example, someone wants to grow a sapling, that person does not fixate on the root of the sapling, nor does he fixate on the branches, trunk, leaves, flowers, and fruits, but grows the trunk of the sapling, watering it from time to time, that trunk

Just as one gradually utilizes branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits, so too, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, for the sake of sentient beings, truly enter into the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. They gradually practice the six perfections and attain omniscience. They, like leaves, flowers, and fruits, nourish all sentient beings. Among these, the leaves refer to that upon which Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas rely, completely liberating sentient beings from the three lower realms. The flowers refer to that upon which one relies, being born from royal lineage like a great Sala tree, up to the gods between the realm of neither perception nor non-perception. Among these, the fruit refers to this: that upon which Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas rely, enabling sentient beings to abide from the fruit of stream-enterer to arhat, solitary buddha, and omniscience. Subhuti, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who acts in this way is said to be the supreme fruit of all sentient beings, and so forth. This is what is taught. Explanation of the distinctions of the unfavorable aspects of the path of meditation of the peak realization is completed.
