As it is cut off, the profoundness of Suchness is that, because Suchness abides in it as it is, it is contemplated as an object of non-discrimination, and because it becomes too much of the nature of the ultimate limit. This is to show the profoundness of Suchness. As the Sutra says: Suchness abides as Suchness is. The knowable one is profound, because the mind is Suchness, because it is not a different entity. This is to show. As the Sutra says: What is Suchness? It is because it is not a different entity from the inconceivable. The knower is profound, because Suchness does not see Suchness. This is to show. As the Sutra says: Again, Suchness does not see Suchness. The practice is profound, because such practice does not practice anything. The practice of Prajnaparamita is profound, this is to show. As the Sutra says: Why is that? Because those who abide in Suchness do not arise in the pervasive wandering of prediction and so on. The non-duality is profound, because there is no pervasive practice of duality in the practice of Suchness. It is because there is no combination of the characteristics of the Bodhisattva and the intention of non-characteristics, this is to show. The skillful means are profound, because from the ten powers and so on to the Buddha's unshared dharmas, before they are completely accomplished, the skillful means of preventing the manifestation of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, prevent any dharma from being something or nothing. Why is that? Because those who abide in the knowledge of the self-nature emptiness of all dharmas, even though sentient beings who practice in those and those incompatible categories, also establish well in those and those compatible categories, but they are skillful in maturing sentient beings, this is to show. The Bodhisattva who abides in the path of cultivation is a variety of explanations of the nature of the Sangha that does not regress. The Bodhisattva's learning path is the body of the Sangha that does not regress.
