Now, since what is born tends to cessation, and being grasped by cessation is its nature, what else is there to cease? That is the meaning. Suchness is profound because it is considered to be the realm of non-conceptualization, as it abides in suchness as it is, and therefore it is said to transform into the nature of the ultimate reality. The knowable is profound because it is said that the mind is not other than suchness. Knowledge is profound because it is said that suchness does not see suchness. As it is said: Suchness does not see suchness. Conduct is profound because such conduct does not adhere to anything, therefore it is permitted to practice the profound Prajnaparamita. Why is that? Because for those who abide in suchness, there is no activity such as prophecy. Non-duality is profound because, for the practice of ultimate truth, there is no dualistic activity, and for Bodhisattvas, there is no attachment to the concepts of sign and signlessness, so it is said. Skillful means are profound because, from the ten powers and so on, up to the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, whether fully accomplished or not, the skillful means of preventing the attainment of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment prevent any dharma from becoming existent or nonexistent. Why is that? Because, and so on, abiding in the knowledge that the self-nature of all dharmas is emptiness, for those sentient beings who engage in unfavorable practices, placing them in their antidotes, therefore being skilled in maturing sentient beings, so it is said. The Sangha of non-returning Bodhisattva trainees who abide on the paths of seeing and meditation has been explained. The Sangha of non-returning Bodhisattvas has been explained.
