སོང་ཤིག་ཅེས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་སོང་བས་འགྲོ་བའི་དུས་སུ་དད་པས་བསྐོར་བ་ལན་གསུམ་བྱ་སྟེ། འགྲོ་བ་ན་གསེར་གྱི་རང་བཞིན་གྱི་སྐས་ལ་ལོགས་གཉིས་སྣ་ཚོགས་པའི་རཏྣ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་སྤྲས་པའོ། །སྣ་ཚོགས་པའི་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་ཡོད་དེ་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་རེ་རེ་ན་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་པའི་ལྗོན་ཤིང་གིས་བརྒྱན་པ། ཁུ་བྱུག་དང་རྨ་བྱ་དང་ཀ་ལ་པིང་ཀ་དང༌། ནེ་ཚོ་དང༌། ས་རི་ཀ་ངུར་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་སྒྲ་ངེས་པར་སྒྲོགས་པ། རྫིང་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ན་པདྨ་དང་ཨུཏྤལ་ལ་སོགས་པས་བརྒྱན་པ་མཐོང་བར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། དེས་སྐས་ལ་འཛེགས་པ་ན་མཐའ་ཡས་པའི་རཏྣ་དུ་མས་ཉེ་བར་སྤྲས་པའི་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་དཔེ་མེད་པ་རྣམ་པར་ཕྱེ་བ་ཉམས་དགའ་བའི་བྲག་རིའི་རྩེ་མོ་ན་དཔལ་ལྡན་པོ་ཊ་ལ་ཀའི་རིའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་གྲུབ་པ་དང༌། རིག་པ་འཛིན་པ་དང༌། ལྷ་དང་མི་འམ་ཅི་དུ་མ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་པ་སྟེ། དེར་ཆུ་དྲི་ཞིམ་པོ་བསིལ་བའི་འོབས་མཐོང་བར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། དེ་དག་མཐོང་བས་སྐོམ་པར་འགྱུར་ཏེ་དེ་ལ་བཏུང་བར་མི་བྱ་ཞིང་བརྒལ་བར་བྱའོ། །གལ་ཏེ་བརྒལ་བ་དེའི་ཚེ་དཔལ་གྱི་རི་ལ་ཨ་མྲའི་རྩ་བ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་ལྷ་ཁང་དེར་འགྲོ་བར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། འོབས་དེ་དག་ལས་འདས་ནས་བསིལ་ཁང་མཐོང་བར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། དེ་ན་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་འཇམ་དཔལ་ལྷ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བསྐོར་བ་ལ་ཆོས་སྟོན་པར་གྱུར་པ་བཞུགས་ཏེ། འདི་ལྟར་སྒྲོལ་མ་དང༌། ཁྲོ་གཉེར་ཅན་དང༌། ཀུན་དུ་བཟང་པོ་དང༌། ཕྱག་ན་རྡོ་རྗེ་ལ་སོགས་པ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་ཡོངས་སུ་བསྐོར་བ་བཞུགས་པ་མཐོང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དཔལ་ལྡན་པོ་ཊ་ལ་ཀའི་རིའི་རྩེ་མོ་ན་དཔེ་མེད་པའི་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་དུ་མའི་གཞལ་ཡས་ཁང་ན་བཞུགས་པའི་སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་ཀྱི་དབང་པོ་ཞལ་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་བཞུགས་པ་མཐོང་བར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། དེའི་ཚེ་ལུས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་ས་ལ་ཕབ་པའི་ཕྱག་བྱ་སྟེ། གཡས་ཕྱོགས་ནས་ལན་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་དུ་ མས་བསྐོར་བ་བྱ་སྟེ་མདུན་དུ་འདུག་པར་བྱའོ། །དེ་ནས་རྗེ་བཙུན་གྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཀྱེ་སྐྱེས་བུ་བརྩོན་འགྲུས་ཆེན་པོ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཡིད་ལ་བསམས་པའི་མཆོག་ཐོབ་སྟེ་སླར་ཕྱིར་བོས་ནས་འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ཀྱི་དོན་བྱེད་པར་འདོད་པའམ། ཡང་ན་ཆོས་ཀྱི་དབྱིངས་ཀྱི་སའི་གཟུངས་ཀྱི་ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་གྱི་རྣམ་པར་ཐར་པ་ཐོབ་པར་འདོད་པའམ། ཡང་ན་ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་དང་བུམ་པ་བཟང་པོ་ལ་སོགས་པ་འདོད་ཅེས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་མཆོག་གི་དོན་དུ་གསུངས་སོ། །དེས་གང་ཡིད་ལ་བསམས་པའི་མཆོག་དེ་རྣམས་ཐམས་ཅད

Say, go! From then on, when going, circumambulate three times with a devout heart. The place to go has a golden self-nature staircase, with both sides adorned with various jewels. There are various gardens, each garden adorned with various trees, with cuckoos, peacocks, kalavinkas, parrots, sarikas, geese, and other birds making pleasant sounds. Large ponds are adorned with lotuses and utpala flowers, and so on, which will be seen. When he ascends the staircase, it is adorned with countless jewels, and on the peaks of various incomparable and delightful rocky mountains, the glorious King of Mount Potalaka, accomplished ones, vidyadharas, gods, and non-gods, and many beings are praying. There, cool pools emitting fragrance will be seen. Seeing these will make one thirsty, but do not drink, cross over. If one crosses those pools, one will reach the temple called "Mango Root" on the auspicious mountain. After crossing those pools, a pavilion will be seen. There, the Bhagavan Manjushri and other assemblies are surrounded, residing and teaching the Dharma. Like this, Tara, Wrathful One, Samantabhadra, Vajrapani, and other bodhisattva assemblies are surrounding, and one will see them dwelling. On the summit of the glorious Mount Potalaka, in an incomparable jewel palace, one will see the Lord Avalokiteshvara dwelling in person. At that time, prostrate with the entire body on the ground, circumambulate from the right side hundreds of thousands of times, and then sit in front. Then, the Lord will say: 'Alas! Son of good family, endowed with great diligence, do you want to obtain the supreme object of your mind, and be summoned back again to benefit the beings of Jambudvipa? Or do you want to obtain the liberation of the samadhi of the dharani of the realm of Dharma? Or do you want wish-fulfilling jewels, virtuous vases, and so on?' 世尊已令修行者获得。若欲住于彼处，则彼时世尊住世多久，亦将住于多久。先前所说之功德亦将获得。所有佛陀及所有菩萨，亦将得见极乐世界之刹土。如是汝当行持，且成如我之菩萨。六字明大咒，于我口中谛听。此后仅闻，亦将成就不退转之菩萨，如我一般。吉祥波多拉山之至尊如是宣说完毕。 位于颇章吉（Phobrang Kyikyi，宫殿欢乐）之北城，由拉喇嘛西瓦洛珠（Lha Lama Zhiwai Lodro，天神上师寂静慧）之圣旨，印度东方之班智达阿毗由克达德瓦师利（Abhiyukta Deva Shri）与藏地之译师班德达玛云丹（Bende Dharma Yontan）如是寻获而翻译。此非弓，非山鹿，非猪之幼崽。非具圆满月容之佳丽。此等一切化身，于寻求意义者之世间。森林殊胜之王，真实安住于山王之顶。 前往波多拉之路的指南。

The Bhagavan has made it attainable by the practitioner. If one wishes to dwell there, then as long as the Bhagavan remains in samsara, one will remain there. The qualities previously mentioned will also be attained. All Buddhas and all Bodhisattvas, and even the realm of Sukhavati, will be seen. Likewise, you should act and become a Bodhisattva like me. Listen to the great mantra of six syllables from my mouth. Thereafter, by merely hearing it, one will become a non-returning Bodhisattva, like me. Thus spoke the venerable lord of glorious Potala.
