Having attained accomplishment, one should benefit through generosity, without stinginess towards the share of accomplishment, to the mantra attendants and the supreme friends in practice. To parents and gurus as well, from the substances of accomplishment, one should apportion a share of the supreme Dharma, as explained in the tantras. In short, the wise should understand how to distribute accomplishments by following what is explained in the tantras themselves. This is the excellent distinction of receiving and distributing accomplishments. Those who have not received empowerment into the supreme mandala, those who do not keep vows and commitments, those who transgress the guru's commands, those who disrespect the guru and mentally revile the guru, likewise, those who are respectful to the guru in front but slander in secret, those whose minds are covered by a web of doubt and who are weak in diligence, those whose minds are unstable and who, like a single day, hold to other deities, those who are hateful, who cherish and possess women, likewise, those who have not generated the supreme mind of enlightenment and who delight in sleep, those who are extremely foolish and filled with attachment, hatred, and pride, likewise, those who cannot cultivate patience in suffering and whose minds are weak, those who are extremely displeased upon hearing even a slight word of criticism, likewise, those who are extremely pleased by even a slight praise and who are greedy for gain, those who are arrogant with even a slight power of mantra and who are conceited with just a dream, those who hold scriptures and say to people that they have secret instructions, those who are stained by the impurity of jealousy and bound by stinginess towards those without secret instructions, those who hate the Dharma that teaches emptiness and who condemn those who hold to substantiality, those who are openly attached to the conduct of the Hearers and who disparage the methods of mantra, those who are openly attached to their own side and who verbally hate the other side, those who ride horses and so forth and who whip, strike, and slap, those who drink alcohol and delight in worldly talk and who are greedy for food, those who delight in gatherings and in the activities of war and battle, those who, in the retinue of the king's palace, harm with divisive speech, those who, by their own analysis, fabricate the profound methods of mantra, those who always strive to explain mantras without having received the guru's permission, those who are deficient in service and who quickly desire secret instructions from the gurus, even if such people practice diligently as much as the sands of the Ganges, accomplishments will not arise, and they will completely degenerate. These are the faults of practitioners.

The excellent distinction of. Whoever has removed the aforementioned faults is a vessel for accomplishment. The guru bestows all the instructions upon him, benefiting him. He will quickly achieve all accomplishments. He is the intelligent descendant of the Victorious Ones, a companion of the Vidyadharas. Although he dwells in Samsara, he is not defiled by impurities like a lotus. This is the excellent distinction of the vessel of accomplishment. When a yogi of Tara becomes ill, he should carefully examine the external and internal signs of death. If signs of death appear, as stated in the Tara manifestation, one should strive to protect against the Lord of Death by deceiving him internally and externally. If signs of death are not apparent, then the best medicine should be used. After empowering the root mantra to pacify and increase the illness, one should eat and anoint the body. The goddess should be visualized as pure white, and the crown should be empowered with a precious vase filled with nectar. One should contemplate that the body is pervaded by great bliss and that all internal phenomena are completely pacified. One should not abandon medical treatments, but the supreme mantra and empowerment are the best for completely pacifying illnesses. This is the distinction between deceiving death and healing illnesses. Then, through the fire offering ritual, pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, secret, and summoning, as desired and as stated in the root tantra, one should diligently perform the fire offering with the ritual. This is easy to understand. All harm, such as stopping or causing rain, should be pacified. The mantra practitioner should examine what is stated in the root tantra. This is the distinction of excellently distinguishing all actions. Thus, the ritual of meditation for the yogi who reveres Tara has been extensively explained. May all beings cross the ocean of existence and quickly attain the state of Tara. The extensive ritual of meditation on the Holy Mother Goddess Tara, composed by the great teacher Dipamkara Sri Jnana, is complete. The great Indian Abbot Shanti Deva and the Tibetan translator, the monk Dharma Jnana, translated, edited, and finalized it. The extensive ritual of meditation on the Holy Mother Goddess Tara, Dipamkara Sri Jnana.
