The ritual of the mandala of Vajrapani clad in blue garments. Samadhi of emptiness. The ritual of the mandala of Vajrapani clad in blue garments. Samadhi of emptiness. In Sanskrit: Nīlāmbaradharavajrapāṇimaṇḍalavidhināma. In Tibetan: The ritual of the mandala of Vajrapani clad in blue garments. Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Homage to the Bhagavan Vajrapani clad in blue garments. Though he has conquered all faults and realized thatness, yet with the stream of compassion, he emanates a terrifying form. Even the Naga kings and other harmful beings pay homage to him. Homage to you, Vajrapani clad in blue garments. Merely seeing him dispels suffering, and wherever he ripens, it becomes the cause for attaining accomplishment. Therefore, I shall explain the ritual of the mandala of the immaculate tantras, many views, and the kindness received from the guru. Whoever has successively received the empowerments, possesses vows, is stable and disciplined, possesses patience, has great wisdom, is brave and diligent, is upright and without deceit, is a friend in the union of mantra and tantra, knows those ten, and is skilled in drawing mandalas. The fortunate disciple should make three requests to the guru who possesses qualities. If he becomes a vessel, the guru will grant permission. Visualize the syllable Hūṃ at the disciple's navel, the color of smoke, blazing with light. At the heart, visualize the syllable Kaṃ, black, contemplating the nature of sin, with the light of the syllable Hūṃ, emit it from the tip of the nose, the sins of downfall, visualize as an ugly naked body, hair disheveled, exhausted, smeared with sesame oil, black and emaciated. The Vajra Yaksha arising from the syllable Hūṃ, devour with mantras such as Vajrayaksha, etc., or pierce with a stake arising from the syllable Hūṃ. Having generated Samantabhadra from the syllable Saṃ, visualize various vajras arising from the syllable Hūṃ at the heart. Touching the crown of the head, recite the root mantra three times, having recited, completely protect the disciple. In a solitary and delightful place, one should possess the three samadhis, have obtained the signs, or have completed a hundred thousand recitations, or one month, or six months, etc., of retreat. Having thus completely completed the retreat, in an empty room or charnel ground, or a barren and fierce worker, and likewise in an unlovable thicket, a terrifying place, and so forth.

In all places, draw the mandala of wrathful activity. Or wherever the mind is certain to generate joy. In short, the ground should be pleasant and bright, and it is said to be inclined to the east. The activity of drawing the mandala in that place should be well prepared. With sandalwood, agaru, etc., fragrant water and milk, etc., apply evenly. To the guardians of the directions, offer torma and make supplications. The earth goddess, with a yellow body, holding a vase in her two hands, invite and offer with the mind, and make supplications. To all the Buddhas, the protectors, goddess, you have become empowered, holding various jewels, draw the mandala on this earth. Having said this, raise it into the sky. For the sake of pacifying myself, the disciples, the landowners, etc., and for the sake of averting obstacles, perform peaceful and wrathful fire offerings. Then, with a finger's breadth, dig one fathom to the west, removing stones and bones, etc. Again, fill it with earth. If there is any excess, it indicates that there is accomplishment. Having purified in this way, with earth mixed with fragrant water, make a square, making it very solid. With fragrant water and the five products of the cow, starting from the east, apply well. A square, with four doors, multi-storied buildings, stables, windows, nets, complete with hanging flower garlands, etc., arrange decorations, etc., inside the house. Then, with Hūṃ Khaṃ Hūṃ (ཧཱུཾ་ཁཾ་ཧཱུཾ།), contemplate the pure sky. From Hūṃ Suṃ Hūṃ (ཧཱུཾ་སུཾ་ཧཱུཾ།) arising, generate the Mount Meru of the four jewels. On top of that, from Hūṃ Laṃ Hūṃ (ཧཱུཾ་ལཾ་ཧཱུཾ།) arising, a square base of gold, generate it, bind it with ashes, face down, and bless it with mantra. Om Medini Vajri Bhava Bandha Hum (ཨོཾ་མེ་དཱི་ནི་བཛྲཱི་བྷ་བ་བནྡྷ་ཧཱུཾ།,Sanskrit: Om medini vajri bhava bandha hum,Earth, Vajra, Become, Bind, Hum). Then, the victory banner of the three realms, protect with the protective mantra, as it is said in the earth ritual. Then, bathe oneself, wear very blue clothes, put on all ornaments, and apply fragrance. From the center of the mandala, look to the east. As it is said in the sadhana, practice the three samadhis, and diligently recite. Praise and supplicate with excellent ants, etc. Secret Lord, great diligent one, body like the body of the Buddha, possessing the nature of the vajra of ignorance, I prostrate to the vajra body.
