In Tibetan: The Method of Accomplishing Glorious Vajrapani. Homage to the Lord, the master of the vajra of body, speech, and mind of all Tathagatas, the glorious Vajrapani with a body of wisdom. Then, wishing to please the secret lord, glorious Vajrapani, first, the root of accomplishing all secret mantras and vidyā mantras, the places of samaya, should be protected without abandoning them even for the sake of one's life. These are the samayas: The Three Jewels and bodhicitta, mantras and mudras, and the teacher, should not be abandoned even for the sake of one's life. They should be worshipped and served. One who has entered the Buddha's teachings should respect the monks, not be angry with the deities and lamas, and not slander worldly gods and the like. Having generated love and great compassion for all sentient beings, their harm should be removed, and one should be patient when harmed by others. Having completely eliminated miserliness, one should benefit sentient beings with generosity. Mantras and mudras should not be given to those who have no samaya. Alcohol should not be drunk, and in short, one should strive only to benefit oneself and others, and one should not lie on a high bed.
