An Explanation of the Dharani Called "Vajra Vidarana," The Sprout of Bliss. An Explanation of the Dharani Called "Vajra Vidarana." The Sprout of Bliss. In the Indian language: Vajra Virarana nama dharani vyaka khyana. In Tibetan: An Explanation of the Dharani Called "Vajra Vidarana." Homage to glorious Vajrapani! Holding the secret treasury of all the victorious ones, the essence that reveals the meaning of the tantras, having paid homage with the three doors, I wish to make an explanation of the sutra. Here, first, for those who are devoted to and have faith in the meaning of the tantras, one should be thoroughly skilled in the five perfections of the meaning of the sutra, and then enter into the order of how to fully understand. Here, first, one should be skilled in the perfection of the meaning of the sutra's name. Here, vajra is a supreme term for correct wisdom. Why? Because, like a vajra, it is uncreated, unmoved by those attached to phenomena and all wrong views, and is the meaning of being separate from phenomena. "Vidarana" refers to the absence of causes, and to what is produced by causes and conditions, permanence and impermanence, happiness and suffering, and so forth, to mention all characteristics of phenomena. "Destruction" means destroying them with correct wisdom, and the meaning of destroying them with the distinction of compassionate means. Dharani means that which does not transgress and the meaning of non-duality. Thus, having shown the purpose of the sutra, then the meaning of purpose and connection is shown. Why? Because one enters through the door of purpose and connection. The teacher who teaches without error is perfect, the retinue that is completely pure is perfect, and the place where it is taught, the compiler who compiles without error, and the necessity of the sutra that is spoken, are the general terms for understanding these. Here, the connection is because the necessity is accomplished and the meaning is determined from the perfections. After that, the meaning of how to fully understand is shown, in order to understand the reason for the emergence of the meaning of the sutra, the means for the emergence of the meaning of the mandala, and the meaning of the perfection of the purpose.

It is to explain its meaning, and to summarize its meaning afterwards, and to explain the method of entering the order. The teacher, the Buddha, the Bhagavan, has eliminated the faults of the two extremes. Although his mind has not moved from the sameness samadhi like a vajra, for the sake of taming the great, he blessed the true son of the mind, the secret lord. When explaining the meaning of this tantra, among the assembled retinues in the infinite Buddha lands, the noble Manjushri was blessed by the Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Buddha Bhagavan, and with pure ears he completely heard the meaning of the noble and glorious Vajra Destroyer. Therefore, I, Ananda, said when I heard it: Thus, the teacher, the Buddha, the Bhagavan, thus explained the meaning of the tantra, transforming from the essence of samadhi wisdom into Vajrapani, speaking the essence of wisdom as the words of mantra, causing the retinue to rejoice and believe, in order to purify the defilement sins of all sentient beings, and to place them in the unsurpassed Bodhi, it should be said thus. Those who are intelligent and surpass in wisdom, having heard this king of meaning, therefore it is said that I have heard. It is said to be with the teacher, the retinue, and the gathering together. It was not spoken many times, but spoken a hundred times at once, therefore it is said to be at one time. The Bhagavan dwells in the vajra, which is the meaning of the self-nature teacher, destroying the army of the defilement demons, knowing the goodness of various qualities with the mind of samadhi, the Buddha Bhagavan has eliminated the faults of the two extremes. Vajra is the perfect place, under the Bodhi tree at the Vajra seat. On the other hand, the Bhagavan dwells in the samadhi like a vajra. Among the three postures, he sits in the equal lotus posture, as if teaching the Dharma. Now, speaking with blessing power, it is the wisdom essence that holds the secret treasury of the hearts of all the victors of the three times, and its sign is holding the vajra. Awakening.

Through the power of blessing, the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of all Buddhas in the ten directions are blessed, therefore entering into samadhi. All bodies are blessed into vajras, which is true wisdom, the nature of all dharmas, the meaning of non-action. Body, speech, and mind are blessed like vajras, therefore receiving blessings. Entering into vajra samadhi is true wisdom. Entering into vajra samadhi, the nature of unobstructed wisdom in all things, I abide in it. Thereafter, Vajrapani Bodhisattva, through the blessing of the Buddha and the immediate cause, after entering samadhi, the blessing power of the Buddhas in the ten directions, the light of wisdom emanates from body, speech, and mind, touching the vajra, therefore body, speech, and mind attain the meaning of wisdom, bestowing empowerment, thus being able to speak unobstructed wisdom words. The blessing power of all Bodhisattvas, from countless eons in the past, the blessing of joyfully upholding the practice of Bodhi, and in countless Buddha lands, the gathering of past virtuous roots of Bodhisattvas, with the blessing of harmony, therefore possessing the power of emptiness. The so-called blessing power of the Buddha, the blessing power of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas, like a spring that is not hot, generates words of immeasurable power and virtue, generating fearless courage. The arising of the Vajra Wrathful One, thus Vajrapani Bodhisattva, through the power of blessing, with true wisdom like a vajra, with the expedient manifestation of the Wrathful One, subdues the demons of the three realms. The deities of the mandala arising from below arise from body, speech, and mind. The so-called Vajradhara's excellent proclamation is that body, speech, and mind are non-active like a vajra, for the benefit of all sentient beings, therefore proclaiming the mandala of the meaning arising from below, and proclaiming the essence that is free from defilements. Now, from the heart, the meaning of the nature of the Wrathful Ones is proclaimed, unbreakable, indestructible.
