It is called blessing and samaya. Thus abiding, seeing the great mandala, for the sake of granting the subsequent holding of the mantra, all of them are also said to be the words of samaya. Knowing such samaya is called the wisdom of samaya, that is, being skilled in samaya. Its various aspects are various differences, and it is extremely different due to the differences of lineage, distinction, and mandala, etc. Being endowed with them is being complete, hence it is called being endowed with the vajra blessing of all the Tathagatas and the differences of various aspects of samaya wisdom, which means being supremely skilled in the activities of the mandala as stated in the tantras. This word shows that the Bhagavan is also extremely skilled in samaya. If one knows the samaya but does not have empowerment, then it is not appropriate to give mantras, receive them, etc. To show this meaning, the author composed the treatise of placing near the jewel crown of all the Tathagatas, etc. All the Tathagatas themselves are jewels, so the jewel of all the Tathagatas is the meaning of being difficult to obtain, the meaning of being precious, the meaning of becoming a great meaning, and the meaning of being extremely bright. Because it is similar to a jewel, it is called a jewel. The appearance of the Buddhas is like the Udumbara flower, so it is difficult to obtain, because it arises from countless eons of practice. Because it is obtained with the price of immeasurable accumulations of merit and wisdom, it is precious. Because it cuts off the suffering of all the poverty, etc. of samsara, and because it becomes the extremely pure place of happiness and mental happiness of the world and beyond, it becomes a great meaning. Because it removes the darkness of the outer and inner, it is extremely bright. The crown ornament made of the jewel distinctions of the five such Tathagatas is the jewel crown ornament of all the Tathagatas. The three realms are the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. The habitual tendencies of the afflictions that are practiced in the three realms.

Having abandoned all defilements, becoming extremely pure, and possessing all the collections of qualities, one has attained the treasury of the Dharma of the supreme Dharma King, and therefore is the Dharma King, the master, of the three realms. Therefore, as a sign of that, having attained the empowerment of the precious diadem, one has attained the empowerment of the Dharma King of the three realms by the precious head ornament of all the Tathagatas. Even if one has received the empowerment, if one has not obtained the power to practice yoga, the work of benefiting sentient beings will not occur. Therefore, the "all-knowing wisdom" of all the Tathagatas, and so forth, is mentioned. "All" means all knowable things; because one always knows all, one is all-knowing. Its wisdom is the all-knowing wisdom. That very all-knowing wisdom is the great yoga. That is also the path of uniting calm abiding and insight. Calm abiding is the characteristic of mind in samadhi, which is to completely place the mind on one object of focus. Insight is wisdom, which is also born from the mind, and is the characteristic of completely distinguishing dharmas, that is, with the mind of equal abiding, distinguishing "this is contaminated," "this is uncontaminated," "this is defiled," "this is purified," and so forth. If the aspect of calm abiding is greater, the mind will become near to dullness and distraction; if the aspect of insight is greater, the mind will become near to excitement and distraction. Therefore, by sequentially attending to appearance and attending to impermanence, one can also reverse the two objects of near distraction and abide in the object to be contemplated. With the rope of mindfulness, wherever and however the manner of calm abiding and insight declines from any aspect, one withdraws the mind from there and applies it to the correct object, and that is union. Through union itself, the state of entering in this way is entering without effort, that is its meaning. Because the means of definitely becoming the path to nirvana is determined, it is said that union is the path. Because one does not cling to the dharmas of the four dhyanas, one obtains the freedom to be born as it is, and for the unconditioned time...
