At that time, the characteristic of abiding firmly in the great bliss of co-emergence is that it abides in the limb of wisdom, therefore it is said that it is the empowerment of wisdom and jñana. Furthermore, whatever is the great bliss of co-emergence that is firmly established, how the mind in equipoise can transform and pervade each and every limb separately, and also transform the various aspects into its essence, this is non-dual like wisdom jñana, and transcends expression, appearing only as great bliss, this is also the empowerment of mind. The fourth is also the same. It is thought that this shows and makes known these things. Whatever is to be viewed in this way is the samaya of viewing it as the yoga of the nature of great bliss, and this should be meditated upon as it is. All of these, as stated in the Hevajra, with the means of accomplishment, have been clearly explained and spoken by my excellent guru, so I will not elaborate here. All of these are when the guru in perfect equipoise bestows the empowerment of wisdom and jñana upon the disciple, at that time, one should focus very precisely on the signs. As it is said: "Great jñana is very subtle." Such verses and so on, therefore, one should thoroughly realize its true meaning. The difference between what is represented and what represents the empowerment of wisdom and jñana, one should understand the explanation of the three here, and the wise should discern well. All the places that are fully revealed in the glorious Guhyasamaja, because they follow the mudra, they are also followed by other tantras. In the glorious Guhyasamaja and Hevajra, the distinction of the fourth empowerment, and likewise here it is the empowerment itself, the wise should discern well. Following these two tantras, also with the vows of the tantra, one should know all that is said in the Yoga and Yogini tantras. Whatever is the distinction of the fourth empowerment, the outsiders of scripture and reasoning, because it is too vast, I am afraid, so I have abandoned them and not written them here. The wise should carefully examine those places, and with scripture and reasoning.

Then, slander should be dispelled. This is clearly stated here, Whatever merit is obtained from the supreme empowerment, May this cause the Victorious Good Protector (རྒྱལ་བ་བཟང་པོ་དཔལ་སྦས་) , And all these beings to become Victors. This which is spoken by the empowerment of many wise ones, For the sake of reversing the inverted attachment to empowerment by beings, For the purpose of dispelling them, I have translated this, May they obtain true empowerment through this virtue. "Definite Statement of the Meaning of Empowerment" composed by the teacher Victorious Good Protector (རྒྱལ་བ་བཟང་པོ་དཔལ་སྦས་པ་) is complete. Translated and finalized in the presence of the Indian Abbot Avadhutipa (ཨ་བདྷཱུ་ཏཱི་བ་) and the Tibetan translator, the monk Shakya Tsondru (ཤཱཀྱ་བརྩོན་འགྲུས་), at the Rulang Jiang monastery.
