The Secret Song of the Heart. Holy India. The Secret Song of the Heart. Holy India. In Indian language: Cittaguhya Dohānāma. In Tibetan: Called "The Secret Song of the Heart." Homage to Mañjuśrī Kumārabhūta. The great Brahmin Sarahah sang this song of realization of the heart: Alas! The root of all saṃsāra and nirvāṇa is the nature of the mind. If realized, there is no need to meditate; rest in the unconditioned natural state. To abide in oneself and seek from others is such delusion! There is no "this" or "not this"; all is the primordial reality. Thus he said. Nāgārjuna said: If realized, who can bind you? Please tell. Whatever is bondage is inherently liberation. If the act of binding and being bound does not exist, Then let the elephant dwelling in the forest run as it pleases. Thus he said. Prajñāpāla said: Between realization and non-realization, who gathers? That is me; there is nothing else. What is seen there? It is the spontaneously arising great bliss. One should know that all is that. Thus he said. Śāntarakṣita said: From the unchanging sphere of equality, various magical displays are shown. Various water bubbles merge into the ocean, the taste of salt. Many tastes are one; there is no difference in this. If all is pervaded by the primordial taste, then it is bliss. Thus he said. Sthiramati said: Just as the light of the stars is suppressed by the rising king of planets, The great non-dual wisdom diminishes the aggregates of thoughts. With this, all the seeds of saṃsāra have been destroyed, Now do not seek nirvāṇa elsewhere. Thus he said. Vāgīśvara said: In the palace of phenomenal reality, the dharmadhātu, The wisdom of awareness shines brightly. Seated on the seat of increasing bliss and clarity, Offer various desirable offerings. Enjoy without affirmation or negation. Thus he said. Vajraghaṇṭāpa said: If you wish to see the true nature of the mind, If you wish to accomplish the benefit of yourself and others, Then you should offer the jewel of the crown of your head. All siddhis arise from that. Thus he said. Śaṅkara said: A flawless crystal ball, pure and unique, Appears in various ways due to the condition of colors. If you know how to place it in the realm of space, Then lasting happiness arises from that. Thus he said. Śāntipa said: Abide in
