Thus it was said. These are the instructions on opening the lotus, the cryptic teachings on the nature of reality, this is the eighth. Then, the yogi Tilopa to the glorious Naropa, cryptically taught the instructions called "The Sixteen Dharmas of the Guru": On good land, The dull-witted do not engage in labor, To eliminate the torment of suffering and disease, Like a boatman, generate bodhicitta. Holding a great pearl pendant, Subdue the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind. Measure jewels from the four great oceans, The essence of honey is contained in the essence of ghee. Practice and become skilled in the craft. Thoroughly liberate from butterflies, deer, bees, Fish, and elephants. Not struck by a poisoned arrow, even if struck, recover. Thoroughly soak with coarse water. Extremely wealthy, very affluent. Become extremely respectful of the farmer's labor. The mother makes the child fully mature. To those destructive lion-like gurus, With body, speech, and mind, offer whatever is needed with reverence. With reverence, again and again, The incapable rely on and diligently serve. Thus it was said. These are the ninth, abandoning evil friends who possess the guru's dharma. Then, the yogi Tilopa to the glorious Naropa, cryptically taught the twelve dharmas of the disciple: Fierce beasts' fangs cannot harm, without wounds, In this prison of suffering, afflicted by long-term illness. A sacred palace, free from illness, blissful, possessing qualities. The dragon king constantly sends rain to beings. The poisonous tree is lush, but has no flowers or fruit. Razor-sharp, constantly abandoning the taste of honey. A man possessing the power to destroy all blissful dharmas, with a strong mind. One with wounds does not stay cautiously. Unbearable disease torments the doctor.

敬礼于彼等。 极度干渴者，必定只求饮用。 无湿气之龟，见大海洋则极喜。 头顶火焰者，迅速消除之。 珍贵殊胜之器皿中， 以殊胜之味精华必定充满。 如黑暗中之明灯， 使具缘者之事显明。 依止具足彼等功德之弟子， 舍弃与之相违者。 依止弟子断除痛苦之教言，第十。 其后，空行母康卡若玛哈，于上师桑林巴那卡布拉宣说了断除错觉之八喻： 成为幼童者们， 如镜般了知种种差别。 极度愚笨之画师， 畏惧自己所画之图。 为胆病所染之眼者， 于所见之境生起贪嗔。 如蚕虫一般， 以自己之口水束缚自己。 对于不精明之庸人而言， 被幻术之变化所欺骗。 野兽被陷阱和罗网等， 不由自主地束缚。 被不顺之敌所擒之囚犯， 被坚固之铁链所束缚。 梦中被投入尸粪坑， 彼时生起难忍之痛苦。 依止上师，生起定解， 恒常修习本性。 错觉之识即是， 觉性即是智慧。 舍弃错觉之识后， 修习本性之智慧。 为了认识错觉之识而断除痛苦之教言，第十一。 南方城市中，空行母比拉德威， 对瑜伽士疯子之行者日塔巴拉拉，宣说了二十真实瑜伽： 农夫们次第从事土地之耕作。 车乘具备两个轮子。 无与伦比之虚空安住其中。 觉性之光芒穿透一切。 水中莲花极为美丽。 无分别之大海洋。 彻底远离黑暗之虚空。 苦行者居住于树叶之衣中。 技艺圆满之狮子依旧安住于雪山之上。 具翅之鸟于空中高飞

An extremely foolish painter, Fears the pictures he has drawn himself. Those with eyes afflicted by bile disease, Generate attachment and aversion to the objects they see. Just like silkworms, They bind themselves with their own saliva. For an unskilled and inferior person, They are deceived by the transformations of illusion. Wild animals are bound without freedom By traps and nets, and so on. A prisoner captured by an unfavorable enemy, Is bound by strong iron chains. In a dream, being thrown into a pit of corpses, At that time, unbearable suffering arises. Rely on the Lama and generate certainty, Constantly practice the innate nature. The knowledge of delusion is itself, Awareness itself is wisdom. Having abandoned the knowledge of delusion, Practice the wisdom of the innate nature. The advice on cutting off suffering in order to recognize the knowledge of delusion, the eleventh. In the southern city, the Dakini Biladevi, To the yogi, the madman practitioner Ritapalala, spoke of twenty true yogas: Farmers engage in cultivating the land in order. Chariots possess two wheels.
