Titled "Half and Five Verses". Titled "Half and Five Verses". From the mouth of the master Nagarjuna's heart: The example of hope is like a yellow leaf, suspicion is like a young prince. Seeing others as real is like mirage water, self-grasping is the destroyer, like a body of sunlight. Appearance of duality is like a parrot, abandonment is like an inverted, mistaken form. Pride from view is the cliff of Dharma, clinging to it in meditation is like Anu, pride from conduct is clinging to Napa, pride from difficulty is the well-cared-for son. The son of power desires liberation, saying enough with realization, auspicious son. Lama beyond lama, unsurpassed Ganges mother, slandering the Dharma, Krishna's crowd. Desiring accomplishment through pleasure, Thangsa's song, emptiness is like a Chandala seed. The wisdom that is free from these is like obtaining a precious jewel. In the past, in the land of Varanasi, there were two people: a householder named Paramoha, and a yellow-leaf woman named Boat-Eye. By the bank of the Nairanjana River, when the new grass was lush, he passed away. She waited for five days and nights, but he did not come. Then, becoming weary, she went to her mother, who said: Alas! Daughter, why is your complexion so withered? The daughter said: Alas! For two nights and two or three nights, I stayed with the young householder, my heart was distressed and discouraged, without food or drink, my stomach was hungry. After she said this, her mother gave her a handful of rice, which she quickly ate, but it went into her trachea, causing her to become dizzy. Then she went to see the great physician, a great spiritual friend, and asked what was happening. She told him the above situation. The doctor said: Hoping for what with what, will not be peaceful, will not be happy, various sufferings will increase, absence of hope is the supreme of happiness. These show that one is destroyed by hope, which is the key to being without hope, this is the first. In the past, there was a prince named Gönzang. His father, with the powerful lineage of the royal family, enthroned him from the crown of his head, saying: Alas! Prince, be diligent in guarding the gate, strive to prevent the throne from falling into the hands of others! Having said this, he passed away. Then, at the time of giving alms, a Brahmin came forward to the royal palace, and the prince, fearing that the throne would be taken away, stood up...

When going to do something, the younger brother usurped the throne because he had someone to rely on. Then, a Brahmin asked: "Why are you striving then?" The king replied, "As my father taught me, I was afraid of losing the throne, so I went to handle the affairs at the gate, and as a result, my brother stole my happiness." The Brahmin said, "With doubt in the heart, happiness cannot be found. With fear in the heart, one will never be happy. Because there is doubt, there is destruction. The wise should abandon doubt. This is the secret to being free from doubt, the second." Once upon a time, on Bird's Foot Mountain, a monk named Somame was walking, and he became extremely thirsty. He mistook a mirage for water and went to drink it. He became very tired and was eating green grass and resting when the sage Kamiga said, "On the great land of samsara that is difficult to traverse, those who want to seek purity elsewhere will be tormented by the hammer of afflictions, just like a thirsty person seeking the water of a mirage." These are the secrets about what to practice and what to abandon, the third. Once upon a time, King Bharadwaja had five hundred consorts and a thousand sons. The son Namaga requested the sage Palagamo. Because he had no son, he cherished him very much. The prince also felt that he was not cherished, because he was afraid of even a little bit of suffering happening to him, he thought, if we die, all the retinue will be destroyed. Then, one morning, he took a bath and sat on the top of the palace, facing east, slightly closing his eyes and looking at the sunlight. He saw a cemetery appearing in the shimmering of the sunlight, and he thought, I will be stained with dirt, so he ran away and fell from the top of the palace, ending his life. Then, the lay practitioner Lodro Sangpo said: "Because of clinging to self, suffering arises. Because of wanting one's own happiness, harm is done to others. After fully recognizing self-clinging, one should treat all sentient beings like a doctor. This is the secret to being free from self-clinging, the fourth." Once upon a time, in Jeta Grove, Prince All-Purposes-Accomplished, the Black Demon and Devadatta became one parrot's body, but separated into two heads.
