Holding the lasso and the sharp Homa knife, The left hand holds only the lasso. A fearsome form with bared fangs, A face of majestic, intense wrath. Slightly bending to the right and looking to the left, Uttering the sound of hala hala. Moreover, all those deities, Adorn their heads with five skulls. They are fully endowed with ornaments, And wear tiger skins wrapped around their waists. On the eight-petaled lotus, The main deity resides in the center. On the petals are the deities, And the outer part is adorned with a rosary of skeletons. In the corners are the four goddesses, And at the gates are the gatekeepers. Having contemplated the completion of the mandala, Contemplate your own seed syllable in your heart. Having emitted rays of light, then, Invite the wheel of wisdom. To the one who dwells in front, Offer ablutions, close contact, scattering, drinking, and so on. Having made offerings again and again, With the four mudras of hook, lasso, chain, and bell, Recite the निश्चित syllables JAḤ HŪṂ VAṂ HOḤ. Knowing how to combine mantra and mudra, Quickly establish the wheel of samaya. Then, from the heart of the wisdom being, Rays of light emanate, And the four goddesses, including Samantabhadri, Holding vajra vases, Through the union of the five immortalities, Definitely meditate on empowerment for myself. Having conferred that empowerment, in that instant, Utter these mantras exceedingly: Oṃ abhiṣiñcatu māṃ vajrapāṇi ye hūṃ. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥི་ཉྩ་ཏུ་མཱཾ་བཛྲ་པཱ་ཎི་ཡེ་ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम् अभिषिञ्चतु मां वज्रपाणि ये हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ abhiṣiñcatu māṃ vajrapāṇi ye hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, please anoint me, Vajrapani, ye, Hum.) Then, the lord of pervasiveness, Makes a mark on the crown of everyone. Then, putting on armor, Think of HŪṂ on top of the water tree, Transform it into vajra armor. With this mantra, place it on the crown, And think that it pervades everything. Vajra kavaca hūṃ. (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ཀ་བ་ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र कवच हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra kavaca hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Vajra, Armor, Hum.) In the place of the form above oneself, Contemplate an object like an eye above. From that which has become above, Think of the nine kinds of terrifying ones. By combining dissimilar pores exceedingly, It appears clearly on top of the essence. By accomplishing water on top of the essence, It possesses a thousand limbs. Looking with its face towards the brothers, By the one who has become above oneself, On the two HŪṂs, the upper one, Definitely make it exceedingly clear. Having gone exceedingly into the first essence, Because it possesses immortality from that, Dwelling exceedingly on top of the terrifying one, It possesses eight eye-like limbs. The destroyer, man.
