This should be done. Guard the secret as you would guard your life. Here, this mantra is the essence of the Lord of the World (Avalokiteśvara). Supreme is the most excellent. Alone, separated from friends. And so on, the four yogis, when reciting the mantra, being alone means having abandoned attachment to all the meanings of the dwelling. Having a hundred thousand means reciting the mantra three hundred thousand times. That is, the characteristics of the three wheels of body, speech, and mind. "Tathāgata manifest" means that body, speech, and mind will become manifest. Now, the great fruit of reciting the mantra is spoken of, such as "bringing forth all the worlds," etc., which refers to the yogi who was previously mentioned as being endowed with the recitation of the secret mantra, who brings forth all the worlds in an instant and gathers all the worlds in an instant. It means having the power to repeatedly bring forth and gather. "Going to the state of the sky" means going to the sky, such as Vajrapani, etc., having miraculous powers. Their state means going to their places, that is, going to a place free from obscurations. Remember, there should be no doubt about this. Now, entering the city of others will be explained, such as "the union of mind and no-mind," etc. Mind refers to the yogi's awareness. Body-born refers to the great elements born from the body that enter. No-mind refers to the corpse's body. Union means entering. Mind refers to the yogi's awareness completely dissolving into the no-mind corpse. After entering many body-born things, the mind will surely appear from the mind. The mind of the corpse is also contained here in the same way. Surely appearing means that it will surely appear on that corpse. The meaning of gathering here refers to the form of life of all sentient beings, which becomes the basis of the mind. When gradually entering the city of others, the yogi should draw it upwards, until it is filled from below the navel upwards to the end of the throat.

It should come out from the nostrils and truly enter into the body that is the same as the corpse. As long as the corpse's body moves, like a frog. Why does it move so violently again? Again, quickly recall the life from there into the corpse's body. Similarly, one should become accustomed to entering other villages. Now, the greatness of the nature of mantra will be explained. "With disease" and so on means possessing disease. "Without disease" means definitely liberating from disease. Similarly, being without disease also brings happiness. Similarly, the power of the king of mantras acts in this way. The firm words of "grasping with a noose and iron hook," as in "grasping with a noose and iron hook," have already been explained before. "Other" and so on means that if one follows other actions to practice, not according to the previously spoken ritual of natural union, it is like a foolish child wanting to grasp the moon. "Three three" and so on means that if a practitioner understands the three bodies of the world's protector as three, three being three aspects, then the three essences are the essence of mantra, the essence of self, and the essence of the deity. Furthermore, the three are the three bodies: Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya. Furthermore, the three bodies are the three types of letters. Similarly, one should understand the principle of three three. The three states are the state of peace, non-duality, and the wisdom of the path being completely purified. Similarly, the three bodies and three states are the rank of the world's protector. If a practitioner knows the nature of the world's protector, then he will definitely go to the rank of the world's protector, that is the meaning. This is a brief commentary on the Fifty Verses of the World Protector of the Lineage, composed by the Kashmiri Pandit Drime Pal Zangpo (Vimalakirti), completed. At the glorious Sakya Monastery, it was requested by the great minister Lhaje Megaling, and translated by Yarlungpa Shudke Drakpa Gyaltsen. Commentary on the Fifty Verses by Drime Pal Zangpo.
