Turning the wheel of Dharma. Thus it is. Then the vows should be given: This is held in the hand of all Buddhas, Vajrasattva. You should always hold it. It is the vow of Vajrapani. After giving the vajra, the vow is strengthened. Then, the teacher should visualize himself as the body of the Buddha, holding the end of the upper garment with his left hand, with his fist held at his heart. The right hand should be in the supreme giving mudra, and he should give the prophecy: All the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and noble ones, with one voice, prophesy the Vajra Holder, and grant the accomplishment of mantra. Thus, the prophecy should be given. Then, refuge should be given: Like those who are free from desire, there is no sin even in the three realms. Therefore, being free from attachment to desire, you should never do it. In this great bliss vehicle, there is no death after death. Suffering ceases and enters nirvana. Existence becomes stable and turns into accomplishment. Having completely abandoned self-nature, one should not practice asceticism. Having taken it as comfortable, one will attain the accomplishment of Buddhahood. Thus, the teacher's mandala is endowed with the activities of mantra and tantra. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, by the power of compassion, are for the benefit of sentient beings. You should diligently write the mandala ritual, and in the tantras, listen and practice. Thus, refuge is given. When the empowerment is thus completed, the mandala and the teacher should be surrounded by sounds and various kinds of music. After making offerings, all the deities of the mandala should be placed in one's own heart, and they should be satisfied with the inner fire offering. Torma should also be made. Then, the secret, wisdom, and prajna empowerments should be learned from the mouth of the lama. The mandala ritual called Glorious Manjushri Vajra, made by the feet of the great Acharya, the glorious Amoghavajra, is complete. Translated by the Pandit himself and the translator Dorje Drak.
