There, the yogi of glorious Black Yamāntaka, with steadfast superior intention, inside an unburnt clay bowl with ram's juice, on top of an eight-spoked wheel of swords, draws an eight-petaled lotus. On top of that, the mantra of Kurukulle is written, combined with the name of the one to be subdued. Among them, in the last month of summer, with Karkoṭa, etc. In the first month of autumn, with Śaṃkha-pāla, etc. In the middle month of autumn, with Takṣaka. In the last month of autumn, with Vāsuki, etc. These are also placed again, and rain is caused in the first month of winter, etc. Other than that, it is combined with an unburnt clay bowl, bound with blue thread, and hooked with the form of Tara Kurukulle, properly offered, and instructed with commands, and placed in lakes, etc., where nāgas reside. Alternatively, the words of the mantra relying on Masi-viṣṭi-koṭa are written. After it has completely transformed, Kurukulle is meditated upon, causing all nāgas to be frightened, properly offered, and instructed with the command: "Bhagavati, please accomplish the needs of so-and-so for me." Then it is placed in the abode of the nāgas. Then, one sits in the direction where rain is to be caused, and all umbrellas, victory banners, canopies, curtains, etc., are made blue, possessing all the distinctions of banners, and the yogi possessing blue ornaments draws a triangular fire mandala, blazing and clear. In the center of that, a bow-shaped wind mandala marked with pennants is blue. In the center of that, a vase-shaped water mandala is white. On it is an eight-petaled lotus.
