The Beginning of the Glorious Guhyasamāja Tantra, Explained by the Guru's Oral Instructions: The Beautiful Vajra. The Beginning of the Glorious Guhyasamāja Tantra, Explained by the Guru's Oral Instructions. The Beautiful Vajra. In Indian language: Śrī Guhyasamājatantra nidāna gurūpadeśena ākhyāta. In Tibetan: The Beginning of the Glorious Guhyasamāja Tantra, Explained by the Guru's Oral Instructions. Homage to the All-Knowing One. Hereafter, the beginning of the Guhyasamāja Tantra will be explained by the Guru's oral instructions. This tantra shows that it possesses five perfections from beginning to end. What are the five? The teacher is perfect, the compiler is perfect, the place is perfect, the retinue is perfect, and the tantra is perfect. Among these, the term "Bhagavan" indicates the perfection of the teacher. The phrase "Thus I have heard at one time" indicates the perfection of the compiler. The phrase "Of all the Tathagatas" up to "resides in the midst of the lotus womb" indicates the perfection of the place. The phrase "The unspeakable and again unspeakable Buddha-field" up to "appears to be filled with all the Tathagatas" indicates the perfection of the retinue. Why does this show the perfection of the tantra? As it is spoken, it shows the perfection of the tantra because it leads to the complete meaning of the beginning and end of the tantra. Moreover, the "Bhagavan" shown above indicates that in the relative truth, the nature of the five dharmas from desire to jealousy dwells in the essence of the seed. The spontaneously accomplished essence of these is that desire is Amitābha, hatred is Akṣobhya, ignorance is Vairocana, pride is Ratnasambhava, and jealousy is Amoghasiddhi. The seed is Mahāvairocana. These five dharmas can also be combined with the five wisdoms. Among these, the mirror-like wisdom is Akṣobhya, the wisdom of equality is Ratnasambhava, the wisdom of discriminating awareness is Amitābha, and the wisdom of accomplishing activities is Amoghasiddhi. Why is it shown as the essence of the wisdom of Amoghasiddhi? Because the nature of action is

Therefore, the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu is Vairochana. The great Vairochana is the true wisdom. From these wisdoms, all that abides in the nature of form and so on will also arise. If arranged in order, the aggregate of form is Vairochana, the aggregate of feeling is Ratnasambhava, the aggregate of perception is Amitabha, the aggregate of formation is Amoghasiddhi, and the aggregate of consciousness is Akshobhya. All of these should also be known as the nature of samaya. Among them, the three aspects of form are Vairochana, the three aspects of sound are Ratnasambhava, the three aspects of smell are Amitabha, the three aspects of taste are Amoghasiddhi, and the three aspects of touch are Akshobhya. Furthermore, these five dharmas are generated from the spontaneously accomplished Bodhicitta. What are the five? They are earth, water, fire, wind, and space. How are they generated? If distinguished in order, the earth element is Buddhalochana, the water element is Mamaki (藏文:མཱ་མ་ཀཱི།,梵文天城体:मामाकी,梵文罗马拟音:māmakī,汉语字面意思:嘛嘛枳), the fire element is Pandara, the wind element is Arya Tara, and the space element is Vajradhatvishvari. These also generate five kinds of fruits. What are the five? By meditating on exhaustion, one generates walking in space and the manifestation of palaces. By meditating on the Bodhicitta as being of a moist nature, one will be able to expand and contract, filling all the worlds with water. By meditating on fire, one generates the magical power of blazing. By meditating on the wind element, one generates the going of mind. By meditating on the space element, one generates unobstructed wisdom. This is a brief explanation of the fruits. Furthermore, it also shows that the eye and so on are the cause for generating the magical eye and so on. What are they? They are the eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. Among them, the eye is Kshitigarbha, the ear is Vajrapani, the nose is Akashagarbha, the tongue is Avalokiteshvara, the body is Sarvanivaranaviskambhin, and the mind is Vajrasattva. The fruit of meditating in this way is that these are generated. Kshitigarbha generates the magical eye, Vajrapani generates the magical ear, Akashagarbha generates the magical
