The essence of nectar, Empower with a multitude of crystal vases. From one's own body emanate rays of light, The rays of light themselves become a multitude of eyes, Those pervading the expanse of the sky, Thereafter emanate and perform the empowerment. With the mantra recited, the water of the vase, Likewise, purify thoroughly. Bestow a crest jewel upon the head, And a vajra and bell upon the two hands. Thereafter, the mantra practitioner, on the tip of a kusha grass, Visualizes a single-pointed vajra, Certainly places it within the hollow of the vajra, And visualizes it as being like fire. Thereafter, with a meditative mind, The wisdom placed in its heart blazing intensely, From the tip of the vajra, moved by the wind, Causes the blazing flames to move everywhere. Touched by the rays of fire, Visualizes it pulsating like silver. Liberate through the upper gate, Or to a pure Buddha-field. If consciousness or anything else is seen, One will fall into the ocean of samsara. Therefore, from the path of the upper gate, Transfer consciousness to its top. From the crown of the head to the formless realm, From the hairline to the realm of form. From the two eyes to the human realm, From the ears, one is born as an accomplished deity. From the nostrils to a yaksha, From the mouth, one certainly goes to a gandharva. From the navel to the gods of the desire realm, From the semen duct to the preta realm. From the water passage to the birthplace of conch-goers, From the excrement passage to the hell realm, Undoubtedly one will go; therefore, The evil paths should be completely blocked. Thereafter, in order to place it in the city of liberation, In front of it, with the complete ritual of the peaceful fire offering as described, Or with the ritual of the fire offering of a single substance, the vajra master burns the offerings related to the deceased in the fire of wisdom. Thereafter, one should also recite the Mahayana sutras such as the Prajnaparamita. Thereafter, gather everything and receive the possessions of the deceased. The owner of the deceased should also, in accordance with their wealth, give clothes, ornaments, bedding, fields, houses, and so on.

Offerings such as slaves and maids should be respectfully presented to the Khenpo. Then, summon the people who cremate corpses and bestow the Brahma-sutra, reciting the three syllables Those who carry the corpse should be especially visualized as the guardians of the world: the one holding the umbrella is the Devaraja; the one holding the whisk is Brahma; the one holding the sword is Vishnu; the one reciting praises is Sukhavati; the one who works with the corpse is Yama; the one holding the vase is the water deity; the one holding the ladle is the fire deity; the one holding food and feasts is Satyavrata; the one holding the banner is the wind deity. Other gods and people should also be especially visualized. Then, recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra seven times, and dedicate one's own merits to perfect Bodhi, and then rise. After rising, visualize the Vajra Master as the nature of Vajradhara, generate all Buddhas, and recite the Avalokiteshvara mantra and the mantra from the 'Purification of the Evil Destinies Tantra' that purifies all evil destinies, and go ahead. On the road, the guardians of the world carry the corpse on their shoulders, and the gods praise and continuously make offerings. Various kinds of musical instruments, auspicious verses, Vajra songs, the sounds of bells, cymbals, hand drums, and the sounds of flutes and lutes accompany. With the five proximate offerings, and numerous offerings such as silk, clothes, banners, and umbrellas, slowly carry it to the father's burial ground. Outside, carefully decorate and pile up dry milk wood. Place the corpse on top of it, and purify it with water from a vase. Then, completely purify it with the fire of cremation, until it turns to ashes. Protect the relics of the deceased. Recite scriptures such as the 'Mahayana Mahasamgraha Sutra'. Accompanying the sounds of hand drums and gongs, sing the Vajra song. Then, although some beings are placed on the path of liberation, they still fall into evil destinies because their evil karma is too strong. Therefore, in order to completely purify the beings of evil destinies, on that very day
