Homage to the Bhagavan, the Glorious Vajrasattva! All-pervading Lord, liberated from all obscurations, Possessing the nature of the five wisdoms, The limbs of self-appearing wisdom gathered, Also paying homage to the immovable Guru, Because of the difficulty of attainment and the fear of confusion, Following after the face of wisdom, With precious Vajra, extremely clear, The method of accomplishing it will be written. There, with mantra and great compassion, generate the mind of enlightenment, Well adorned with the qualities of generosity and so forth, Especially delighting in the way of union, inseparable from skillful means and wisdom, And entering the mandala of the Glorious Guhyasamaja, And obtaining the empowerments of the crown, vajra, lord, name, vase, secret, and wisdom-jnana, As well as asceticism, prophecy, permission, and subsequent permission according to the ritual, In some places such as mountains that are agreeable to the mind, Smear a square mandala with moon, sun, water, medicine, and fragrance, And scatter various fragrant flowers. If those are not available, then everything is done with the mind. There, on a comfortable seat, enter the vajra posture, The three doors of liberation are completely purified, and having practiced love and so forth beforehand, Visualize the blue syllable HUM (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽) facing upwards on the sun disc in one's heart, On the surface of the sky, visualize the wheel of the mandala of the deity one desires, And also the form Gurus who are inseparable from it, completely filling it without any gaps like a sesame pod, And visualize that from that HUM, forms, sounds, smells, tastes, tactile vajras, etc., And the seven jewels, victory banner, Many goddesses, etc., all external offerings are also completely unfolded.
