Chapter Three: Commentary on the Samadhi of Vajra Arrangement Chapter Three: Commentary on the Samadhi of Vajra Arrangement The supreme approach is scattered and dwells in four chapters: the third, seventh, eleventh, and fifteenth chapters. The realization of that ground is the meaning of the third chapter. Therefore, first, let us briefly state it. From the perspective of the method of accomplishment, the mantra practitioner who has obtained the signs of accumulating merit, having established a place in a clean and harmless mountain valley, abundant with flowers, fruits, and fragrant scents, together with a good companion for accomplishment, desiring to begin the supreme approach, should rise at dawn. Having practiced from the intermediate ritual based on the path, generating compassion for all sentient beings, and having particular faith in the formless bodhicitta, bless it with the mantra "Om Shunyata Jñana Vajra Svabhava Atma Ko Ham (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཤཱུ་ནྱ་ཏཱ་ཛྙཱ་ན་བཛྲ་སྭ་བྷཱ་བ་ཨཱཏྨ་ཀོ྅ཧཾ།,梵文天城体:ॐ शून्यताज्ञानवज्रस्वभाव आत्माकोऽहम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ śūnyatājñānavajrasvabhāva ātmako'ham,汉语字面意思:嗡,空性智慧金刚自性,我即是)". After that, contemplate a tiered mansion contained within the Dharma-origin mudra. If one is Vairochana or a yogi of his lineage, then in the center of the moon mandala seat, contemplate the syllable Rab-bsngags (藏文:རབ་བསྔགས།), white like the moon. Gathering the mantra deities whose rays pervade the sky, dissolving them into it, one should contemplate the Bhagavan Vairochana arising from this: with a white, black, and red face; the root two hands embracing his own light-ray consort and holding her lip; the two right hands holding a wheel and a sword; the two left hands holding a jewel and a lotus; with a moon seat and moon rays; in vajra posture; with a peaceful demeanor; the crown of matted hair adorned with Akshobhya; the head, neck, and heart blessed with the syllable Rab-bsngags (藏文:རབ་བསྔགས།) and Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ) and Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ), and contemplate the assembly of Tathagatas emanating from the five-colored rays, covering the face of the sky. After that, perform the six limbs of union, as it is said in the eighteenth chapter: "The six limbs of approach, performed according to the method, are the most supreme." Other

If one practices perfectly, it will not become the supreme accomplishment. Individually gathering and meditation, as well as holding the life force, and also mindfulness and samadhi, these are called the six limbs of union. It is said. Among them, gathering the five great elements is to contemplate space, and in its center, contemplate the vajra that gathers the five senses transformed from the elements. In its center, contemplate the variegated one abiding on the seat of the moon mandala of the Dharmadhatu, and knowing that the knowable and the known are free from the union of difference, thereby ascertain that the variegated seat is non-dual. After that, from the variegated seat of the moon mandala, the forms of the moon and sun, form and sound and smell and taste and touch, sequentially arising from the vajra jewel gate, arrange them in the lotus in the center and the eastern and southern and western and northern directions. On the variegated one himself, spread the forms of the mantras of the five Buddhas, Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), Sva (藏文:སྭཱ་,梵文天城体:स्वा,梵文罗马拟音:svā,汉语字面意思:梭哈), Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), Ha (藏文:ཧཱ,梵文天城体:हा,梵文罗马拟音:hā,汉语字面意思:哈). Having placed them on those, as is the order, the constant one and the immovable one, and the jewel banner king, and the lord of speech, and the unfailing accomplishment, together with their own infinite retinue, come and merge. Thus, contemplate the nature of the mandala of the five families, until the desired time. After that, on the variegated one's own seat, gather the five seats of the five Buddhas. Gathering the five Buddhas on oneself, this is called the first limb of individual gathering. After that, from the variegated one, in the three triangles in the center of the lotus, spread the wheels and lotuses and vajras, this is the first meditation, called investigation. In the center of those, spread the sword, this is the second meditation, called analysis. In the centers of the four signs, spread the joy goddesses of Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), Ham (藏文:ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:杭), this is the third meditation, called joy. After that, contemplate the subtle bindu arising from gathering the joy goddesses in the center of the essence of the sword, filling it like a round pearl, this is the fourth meditation, called bliss. After that, contemplate the mind bindu arising from gathering the signs, immersed in fire, this is the fifth meditation, called one-pointedness of mind. This is the fifth meditation, called the second limb.
