Chapter Two: Explanation and Combination of the Mind of Enlightenment. Chapter Two: Explanation and Combination of the Mind of Enlightenment. The supreme accomplishment arises from means, which has been explained in the first chapter. These means are the four: recitation, close practice, practice, and great practice. The Blessed One, starting from this chapter, explains the order of close practice, recitation, practice, and great practice up to the fifth chapter, and similarly in other fourth chapters as well. Therefore, by reading the chapters in a continuous order, the meaning of arranging the chapters in their proper order is to gather one meaning closely in order, as it is said in the eighteenth chapter: "The fifth, ninth, as well as the thirteenth and seventeenth," and so on. Among them, close practice is scattered in the second, sixth, tenth, and fourteenth chapters. Therefore, in order to realize them, it will be first gathered and explained in this chapter. Here, the practitioner who diligently performs the six-limbed recitation settles in a secluded mountain cave, etc., and enters the meditation chamber in the early morning. After following the rituals of abiding on the path, generating great compassion, and arousing the ultimate mind of enlightenment, he blesses himself with the wisdom mantra of praise itself, and imagines himself sitting on the central seat of the palace, which is located in the center of various lotuses contained within the Dharma source, and in the center of various vajras. If he is an immovable yogi or a yogi of that kind, then he should contemplate his own mind in the center of the sun and vajra in his heart, in the form of the mind of the immovable one and its mantra. That mantra, the letter Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,Devanagari: हूँ,IAST: hūṃ,Seed syllable, Hūṃ), is blue in color, hot to the touch, and rough in sound. With a mind in that form, he contemplates all the deities as the very nature of the immovable one. The spreading of the light rays of the mind is the samadhi of obtaining appearance. Looking at the arrangement of the deities covering the surface of the sky with that light is the samadhi of increasing appearance. Then, with that light, thinking that all of this is the mind itself

Having summoned those arrangements of the deities and placed them in the mind is focusing on the mantra; it is a single-pointed concentration on the meaning of suchness. Then, thinking that since there is no grasping, there is also no grasper, knowing that this mind is also not mind is focusing on the mind, which is uninterrupted concentration. Then, from the complete transformation of the mantra, being oneself as Achala is focusing on speech, which is the unmoving enlightenment. That form of Achala is like indigo, with black, white, and red faces, wrathful, with a crown of matted hair adorned with Vajrasattva, with the light of the sun and a seat of the moon, seated in the vajra posture. The two hands embrace a consort similar to oneself, and the remaining ones hold a vajra, sword, jewel, and lotus. Below that: Since these entities are unborn, all phenomena are nonexistent, and nature is nonexistent. Like the sky, without self, the way of enlightenment is taught. By practicing the enlightenment of Achala with this verse, this is the coarse bodhicitta. After that, on the moon of the mind's place, head, and neck, contemplate a vajra, wheel, and lotus respectively. In the center of those, look at Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hum, seed syllable), vidyā mantra, and Āḥ (ཨཱཿ,āḥ,ah,seed syllable). After that, on the sun of the heart, in the center of the vajra, contemplate the letter Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hum, seed syllable), and on that point, contemplate a subtle Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hum, seed syllable), from which a slightly extended blue vajra the size of a barley seed. From that, expand clouds of signs, making the collection of moving and unmoving things its nature. Gathering the various things into a mass, transforming into the form of an extremely subtle solar mandala, and then gathering it in the center of the signs. On that sun, contemplate the most subtle seed of Achala, this is examining with mantra and the union of concentration and enlightenment, which is the subtle bodhicitta. After that, bless the forms of the letters of the signs residing on the moon of the mind's place, head, and neck, such as the vajra in the heart, with that mantra: Oṃ Sarva Tathāgata Citta Vajra Svabhāva Ātmako'ham (藏文:ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཙིཏྟ་བཛྲ་སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་ཨཱཏྨ་ཀོ྅ཧཾ,梵文天城體:ॐ सर्व तथागत चित्त वज्र स्वा भाव आत्मा कोऽहम्,梵文羅馬轉寫:oṃ sarva tathāgata citta vajra svabhāva ātmako'ham,I am the heart-vajra nature of all tathagatas). Oṃ Sarva Tathāgata Kāya Vajra Svabhāva Ātmako'ham (藏文:ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཀཱ་ཡ་བཛྲ་སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་ཨཱཏྨ་ཀོ྅ཧཾ,梵文天城體:ॐ सर्व तथागत काय वज्र स्वा भाव आत्मा कोऽहम्,梵文羅馬轉寫:oṃ sarva tathāgata kāya vajra svabhāva ātmako'ham,I am the body-vajra nature of all tathagatas). Oṃ Sarva Tathāgata Vāka Vajra Svabhāva Ātmako'ham (藏文:ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་བཱ་ཀ་བཛྲ་སྭ་བྷཱ་བ་ཨཱཏྨ་ཀོ྅ཧཾ,梵文天城體:ॐ सर्व तथागत वाक वज्र स्वा भाव आत्मा कोऽहम्,梵文羅馬轉寫:oṃ sarva tathāgata vāka vajra svabhāva ātmako'ham,I am the speech-vajra nature of all tathagatas). After that.
