Chapter Seven: Explanation of the Supreme Conduct of Mantras Chapter Seven: Explanation of the Supreme Conduct of Mantras "Then" refers to the fact that in other vehicles, the Bhagavan said that indulging in desires is an obstacle to enlightenment. So, is it the same here? This is to understand the doubts of those to be tamed. "Great" is because the nature of the Dharmadhatu pervades everything. "Samaya" is because it should not be transgressed. The mandala nature contained in each atom is the great Vajradhara, which is Suchness, the great bliss of the five uncontaminated families. As stated in the Uttaratantra: "That itself is spoken of as the five families." It is also the essence of Samantabhadra, and it is also the difficult Samantabhadra. Because it is said that that is the samaya, practicing it is the conduct of mantra. Indulging is because it is the cause of supreme enlightenment. All enjoyment of desires, such as form, are in the form of form vajra and so on. "All desires" should be known, the Vajradhara is also the same. The Uttaratantra says: "The six, such as the form vajra, are said to be the Vajradhara." By not transgressing these, wanting to fully enjoy them, through this practice, the yoga previously described, with the nature of compassion and wisdom, the characteristic of wisdom and equipoise, one will quickly attain Buddhahood. Enjoying all desires, the yogi who possesses it becomes happy. Remaining in equal bliss, one realizes the true meaning through this. The mind of bliss remains in equanimity, and by remaining in equanimity, one knows the true meaning as it is, as stated in the scriptures. Therefore, from such a cause, one should offer oneself and others with the yoga of one's own deity. The word "own" also includes all the Tathagatas. After showing compliance, it speaks of opposition. Suffering is cutting off one's own head and so on. Determination is eating leaves and fasting for a month and so on. Austerity is practicing the five fires and so on. One should not recite in the manner of begging. Nor should one be attached to the food obtained by begging.
