"Even more superior than me" means: The wisdom aspect of beings such as the Heart Vajra goes separately by itself; it is a synonym for saying it is similar to that. Therefore, those of the Heart Vajra lineage are separate. This indicates that one should make offerings to the mandala of Ratnasambhava and others with the distinctions of age and lineage. As it says in the seventh chapter: "With the union of lineage distinctions, one should make offerings with one's own semen." Others say that if one cannot find it according to the ritual, then one should take as much semen as possible. If so, it would be meaningless to have specifically stated the age in this treatise. Some say that one should obtain it from nāga maidens and so on, but here it is said that there is no difference. If nāga maidens and so on are accomplished, then this is superfluous. "Clean" means that it is well taken care of with rituals such as taking possession of the land. "Solitary" means that it is free from the cause and manifestation of all obstacles. Some think that it means being separated from beings who are not endowed with fortune. "The direction of the land

Starting with the letter ya, etc., from the crown of the head to the area of the breasts, one should meditate on the nature of Vairocana as manifested by the letter Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanized: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om). Similarly, from the heart center to the navel, the nature of Akshobhya is represented by the letter Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanized: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum). From the navel to the secret place, the nature of Ratnasambhava is represented by the letter Swa (Tibetan: སྭཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वा, Sanskrit Romanized: svā, Chinese literal meaning: Swa). At the secret place, the nature of Amitabha is represented by the letter Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanized: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Ah). From the secret place to the soles of the feet, the nature of Amoghasiddhi is represented by the letter Ha (Tibetan: ཧཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हा, Sanskrit Romanized: hā, Chinese literal meaning: Ha), and one should meditate in this order, which is the meaning. Now, the places of offering are spoken of. As for "space," and so on, the so-called "ocean of wisdom" is Vairocana, the nature of mirror-like wisdom, because it is the characteristic of the arising of all undeluded wisdom without exception. This is spoken of in the eleventh chapter. Here, it is referred to as "wisdom essence Hum." The phrase "oneself residing in the center of the moon" means sitting on a moon seat. The term "heart center" refers to the seed syllable of the heart; here, the word "heart" refers to the seed syllable of the heart, just as one might say "throne call." The phrase "should also be well gathered" means immediately after the expansion. This should also be considered in relation to the recollection of the Buddha, and so on. The phrase "having placed the bhaga linga," and so on, should also be applied here. Therefore, it will be said thus: within the source of Dharma, visualizing various lotuses and various vajras, and visualizing Vairocana in the same way, one should meditate on the mandala of the second stage through the order of expansion and contraction. Some say that one should also meditate on the wisdom being in the heart of the consort whose self-appearance is incomplete. Others say that one should meditate on the wisdom being with a lunar mandala in all the hearts of the samaya beings. This is also not relevant, because when the external consort is well trained, the self-appearance is also well trained, which has been extensively explained. The words "where is the being in the heart" will explain the abode of the wisdom being in the twelfth chapter. Furthermore, the words "distinguish the color of pride, the taste is also the essence," and "peaceful in peace,"

in the mind. The term "thus," like the samaya-sattva, should also contemplate the seat and various distinctions of the wisdom-sattva. The term "nature of the four jewels" refers to the nature of Vairochana Buddha and others in the east, south, west, and north of the mandala of the heart, which are crystal, ruby, lotus ruby, and emerald. Because they are the nature of the four jewels, they are called the nature of the four jewels. In the mandala of the body and so on, how these should be coordinated should be well coordinated. The term "stupa" refers to the palace. The term "ocean of wisdom" refers to the aforementioned Vairochana Buddha. The term "three times" refers to the meaning of making offerings to the Tathagatas of the past and so on. The term "place" refers to the place to be thought of. The term "clouds of offerings descend" refers to the meaning that in the center of the mandala that is so complete, with the consort and others who have been well prepared beforehand, at the moment of meditation on the remembrance of the mandala, the clouds of offerings born from one's pores and pervading the sky descend. Thus, it should also be said here that one should also contemplate the mudra of the deity and so on. Among the lotus and others that are clearly stated in the offering, the lotus is wisdom and the utpala is skillful means. The term "five kinds" refers to the distinction of form and so on, and the objects of those forms and so on are contemplated as the nature of skillful means and wisdom, that is, they are contemplated as the forms of form-vajra and so on, which are connected to the offering. The term "knowing the three castes" refers to the distinction of the castes of bathing women, dancing women, and consorts, and the distinction of colors such as white, red, and black as stated, and there are also three kinds of distinctions based on age. It should be completed in this way, and offerings should be made to the Buddhas such as the body-vajra. If asked how to make offerings, it is said that there are flowers, karnikas, and so on, and the nature of the eyes and so on that are spoken of comes from oral instructions. Some people think that the lotus and so on are as they are said here. In order to show the mandala of offerings, the range of a hundred yojanas and so on is said, saying a hundred.
