Such merit is eternal, and what is written later is the same. This is said to closely show the ritual of drawing the lines of the mandala. Among the words "Sarpa" etc., "Sarpa" refers to what has not been fully enjoyed by other things. The so-called "well rolled up" is to be well rolled up in order to be the thread of wisdom. The length of the mandala is twice, and the thickness of the door is one-twentieth, which is the standard. The so-called "extremely beautiful" means that there are no knots and it is not loose. The so-called "wise person" refers to someone who understands the mandala ritual and is proficient in painting work. The so-called "body and mind are meditated" means that in the mandala of the body etc., one should first meditate on the body vajra etc., and then draw it. In the eighteenth chapter that is said, it says: "With the vajra of body, speech, and mind, in the mandala of body, speech, and mind, seal with the seals of body, speech, and mind, and examine the painted mandala." The so-called "twelve cubits" is because the twelve branches of dependent origination are the nature of complete purity, so each direction is twelve cubits. In this regard, it is also said in the scriptures: "Drawing the lines of the mind mandala is the twelve branches of dependent origination." Some people say: "Each side is three cubits." The so-called "square" etc. describes the shape of the outer mandala. The so-called "four doors" refers to having four doors that are one-eighth of the wheel. The so-called "wheel in its center" means that it should be drawn in the center of another mandala that is half of it, so it is called the wheel mandala. The so-called "extremely round" means round. The so-called "completely" means everything, and some people explain that this refers to being completely surrounded by the positions of Vairochana etc. Since the special characteristics of its scriptures are not explained, this is also similar to the square etc., and because it is completely surrounded inside, it will become without a foothold for a horse. Then the mudras should be placed. This means that from then on, just as one is able to do, on the completed mandala that has been drawn, draw the seats of the sun and moon in the appropriate positions, and place Akshobhya etc. as appropriate.

The symbols should be drawn. "By seeing the ritual of action" means: Whatever rituals are not mentioned here should be added following the general tantra. It is also said: "In whatever places, one's own, rituals of action, etc., are absent, then in which tantra, the wise should rely on the rituals that are spoken." The ritual should also be viewed extensively in the mandala ritual, but it is not shown here. "Then" and so on, the determination of the place is stated for the purpose of placing the mudras. Therefore, in the center of its mandala, the symbol of Acala residing in his own place, that is, a black five-pointed flaming vajra, should be drawn. With this, it is said that the symbols of the seats, etc., of Acala and others should also be drawn. "East" and so on, the meaning here is an eight-spoked wheel, and a nine-part green jewel, and an eight-petaled red lotus, and a sky-colored sword, blue-tinged. In the directions of east, etc., the order of the Tathagata's places should be drawn as it is. The placement of the symbols of the eye, etc., is stated. "Eye" refers to the form of the eye. "In the center, light like a cloud" means: The black center like a cloud is equal, having a round light, therefore it is called the meaning of a black pupil. Some say that "eye" refers to the time of the symbol of the eye, so that symbol should be drawn. In the center, like the nature of the water of a cloud, it is white. The light that is similar to it is beautiful, so the light in the center like a cloud means white. But this is not from the lineage. "The corner of the east" refers to the direction of fire. "Born from the family of Mamaki" means that the immovable vajra should be drawn. "South" refers to the truthless. "Utpala (梵文,utpala,乌 उत्पལ་) with stems," that is, the red lotus. "West" refers to wind. "Utpala (梵文,utpala,乌 उत्पལ་)" is blue. Some say it is yellowish-green. "North" refers to the powerful direction. "Flaming hammer, bright light" means that the bright vajra hammer with flames should be placed on the eastern gate. Flaming vajra, beautiful light.
