Chapter Four. Explanation of the Mandala of the Hearts of All Tathagatas. Chapter Four. Explanation of the Mandala of the Hearts of All Tathagatas. Now, as it is, after obtaining the position of an Acharya and also correctly understanding the meaning of all things, and also, because of being accustomed to subtle yoga, the mind has become stable in meditation, for the sake of accomplishing siddhi or for the sake of gathering disciples, making a mandala is the very appearance. Whatever is said, if one does not possess mandalas, there is no supreme mantra siddhi. Just as without wind, there is no going and coming, etc. The mandala becomes inferior, and also, one abandons the vows, if one does not understand the secret truth, even if one practices, one will not accomplish anything. Thus it is said. It is also said in the 'Manifestation of Vajra', without entering the mandalas, and also without obtaining empowerment, the vows of a Bodhisattva, and various kinds of signs, whatever is said should not be given, therefore one should draw a mandala. Thus it is said. Then, for the mandala that can be shown to oneself and others, because it cannot be emanated by the mind, it is declared that it is close to drawing a mandala of colored powders. Starting from "Then" etc. "By this king of praises" refers to stating the true qualities that will be explained and then making a request. The so-called "All Tathagatas" is for the sake of blessing all Tathagatas. The three words "Peaceful" etc., in order, are the Dharma, the Nirmāṇakāya, and the Sambhogakāya nature, and the heart mandala, the body mandala, and the speech mandala are declared. Some say this. The supreme of all dharmas, selflessness. After separating, after separating the words such as "All Tathagatas", others think that the mandala of the nature of the five wisdoms is declared with five kinds of words. The so-called "Please explain" is a close indication, here it is a general request. Specifically declared with the distinction of body mandala etc., starting from the so-called "All signs" etc. "All signs are completely perfect" refers to the square etc.

It is endowed with all characteristics. Abandoning all non-characteristics. This refers to a drawing that is free from faults such as fineness, coarseness, roundness, and incompleteness. Samantabhadra refers to obscuration. The supreme of body refers to, because it is the lord of Vairochana. The peaceful Dharma arises from the supreme, and for this, all peaceful Dharmas, in whom there is no object of investigation, that discriminating wisdom is called that. Therefore, the supreme itself is the main one. Truly arising is because its cause is the same. Wisdom practice is purified. This refers to the conduct that is performed in order to perfect the wisdom of omniscience, and it is taught in the manner of mantra, which can generate purity, and merely entering into it can obtain the abandonment of the defilements of the obscurations of perfect Bodhi. The supreme of speech refers to because it is the mandala of speech. The great mind of all sentient beings. For this, the great mind of all sentient beings is the wisdom that is free from all elaboration. That Here it is said. Pure means that it is not defiled by the stains of afflictions together with habitual tendencies. Why? Because it is said. Self-nature is immaculate means that the mind is completely pure by its very nature, and the stains arise from false discriminations. In this way, the mandala of the nature of extremely pure wisdom is shown. Alternatively, the word sentient being here is a word for things, because all external objects are harmed by measure. All sentient beings themselves are the great mind, and the great itself pervades all things. This shows that there is no object to be grasped. Therefore, in order to show that there is no grasper either, it is said. Pure means that it is only non-dual, it is only truly knowing. Why is this? Because it is said that self-nature is immaculate means that the object to be grasped and so on are always non-existent in that very nature. This shows this meaning: How to draw a mandala in this Bhagavan, all Tathagatas

As requested, the mandala is drawn with colored powders, and one should always pray to the glorious Vajra Acharya who possesses the characteristics [of a qualified teacher], and to the pure yogi, with images such as the vajra for examining disciples. Similarly, at the time of the manifestation of the meditation mandala, the yogi who abides in the samadhi of recollecting the Tathagatas should understand that all the Tathagatas make requests. 'Then,' etc., 'then' means after the request. 'Teacher' means the one who shows the teaching of perfect and complete enlightenment. Because of the nature of below the earth, on the earth, and above the earth, it is the three realms. Because of the nature of the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, it is the three realms. The difference between the worldly and what is said in one's own tradition is these two. The ritual of the three realms is all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. The best of vajras of those is because of the nature of mirror-like wisdom, etc. The best of the three realms is the best of vajras. The best of the three realms refers to the three, Brahma, etc., because it is shown by the emanations of wrathful deities, etc., and is connected with benefit, it is the one who shows the best of the three realms. 'Delightful' means that it generates benefit just by seeing it. The mind of all the Tathagatas. It means the mind of the nature of all the Tathagatas' skillful means and wisdom. Because it takes the essence of the basis of the collection of all qualities, it is the mandala. 'The mandala is very similar' means that the cause of bodhicitta is the same. It is also said: 'Bodhicitta is also a mandala.' In order to show the mandala of the mind, it is said, 'Then,' etc., 'The vajra of the mind is very similar' means that these three colored powder mandalas are also the same as the wisdom mandala, because its qualities, its ripening, and its shape, etc., are the same. It is also said: 'Among all the Buddhas, the wheel of the deities such as Vajrasattva is in direct sight.'
