Chapter Sixteen: Explanation of the Vajra Abhisambodhi Mandala of All Accomplishments. Chapter Sixteen: Explanation of the Vajra Abhisambodhi Mandala of All Accomplishments. "Then," and so on, speaks of the sixteenth chapter. What is "samadhi"? It is like a mirror that reveals all things. The so-called "Vajra Ritual" means that with an indivisible ritual, on the central seat of the complete mandala, the hand-seal wheel of Vairochana is drawn in image. The so-called "Immovable," and so on, means that in the center of the previous Vairochana, the immovable Vajra is drawn, and the remaining deities are drawn as they are in their places. The so-called "Say one," and so on, means that colors, lines, and so on, and foods, and so on, should be combined according to the ritual. To explain the mandala of speech, "Then," and so on, is spoken. The so-called "samadhi" is the aspect of individual observation. The so-called "practicing with the vajra" means that the thread held by the teacher and the student, such as Amitabha, etc., should be marked and drawn as previously explained. The so-called "the place of the mandala of one's own body" means that although it is already the mandala of the body with form, one obtains the qualities of the speech vajra by virtue of the purification of desire. In the direction of Amitabha in the west, the hand seal of the immovable one is drawn, and the remaining deities are drawn as they are in their places, as it is said, that is what is said by "That itself," and so on. The so-called "secret offering" means that a dancing girl is invited and offerings are made as previously described, it should be known. Thus, the mandalas of body and speech have been explained. The mandala of mind has been explained in the fourth chapter. Now, in order to show the mandalas of other deities as well, "Then," and so on, is spoken. Whichever form is drawn in the center of the mandala, the mandala will become that of that deity. It is said that whichever wheel abides in the center, that wheel will also become that of that deity.

In order to explain the three letters of essence, such as the mind that is common to generating all things, etc., therefore, "Then" etc. are spoken. The mantra of the mandala of the body, etc., is the essence. In order to draw its lines, it should be connected by saying that this is the place of letters. The ritual of drawing the mandala by the yogi who has attained the descent of wisdom is explained, i.e., "pigment" etc. The so-called "mind of mantra" refers to the mind blessed by mantra obtaining power. Therefore, the joy of pigment and drawing lines, etc., should not be done by oneself, because it will be difficult to obtain Bodhi after doing so. If so, how should the mandala be drawn? Therefore, "Therefore" etc. are spoken. Let the boy and girl descend the mantra deity Vairochana and the eye, think of the place where the eyes etc. are blessed, and those two with the status of teacher and disciple should draw the mandala of the body. He himself explained the ritual of drawing the mandala of speech, i.e., "Vajra Dharma" etc. Also explained the ritual of the mandala of mind, i.e., "Vajrasattva" etc. Thus it is said, starting from "Wisdom descent well obtained," to "In the mind also there is Akshobhya, Māmakī," etc. In other places and times, while contemplating, the wheel is summoned, and the method of making it merge into this is explained, i.e., "After summoning" etc. The so-called "King of Wrathful Ones" refers to Yamāntaka. This is only an approximate representation. The other three doorkeepers should also do the work of introducing, binding, and pleasing, and the one who has the nature of merging into the Buddhas of the three times should offer the wheel. That is to visualize one's own wheel clearly, from "Visualize one's own wheel clearly" to "Yamāntaka etc. summon" is explained. The ritual of Torma is explained, i.e., "All mantras" etc., these I have not explained. The ritual of drawing lines by the novice yogi is explained, i.e., "Lines" etc. At the time of drawing the mandala of the body,

Visualize the master himself appearing as holding one end of the thread, and the disciple as Vajrasattva holding the other end of the thread, or visualize it as the cooking combination of nectar. The so-called "place of action" refers to the obvious combination of bindu, etc. These should also be clearly understood from the mandala ritual. It is said that the thread and colors should be divided into the images of the twenty-five deities with the nature of the five Buddhas, such as "the five great Buddha kings, etc." Therefore, it is said that its color appears as arising from the seed syllables, such as Akshobhya, etc. Now, it is said that after offering the previously mentioned torma, one should enter the mandala and circumambulate in the form of Vajra Hum, which is called "mantras." Vajra Hum is the victor of the three realms, said to be Yamantaka. Therefore, from "the guardians of the directions each abide in union" to "having completely conquered from the three worlds" etc. are mentioned. With peaceful practice, not living by Avalokiteśvara, for the Avalokiteśvara born of the Buddhas, body, speech, and mind etc. are mentioned. Body, speech, and mind refer to Yamantaka, and should be visualized as the second lord of the five Buddha crown ornaments. Alternatively, the so-called body, speech, and mind vows refer to Vajradhara, and should be visualized as the five places of the Buddhas, namely the head, throat, heart, navel, and secret place of the waist. The so-called Vajrasattva refers to the yogis. The ritual of placing the vase refers to placing the Vajra vase etc., and for the victorious vase etc., it is the nature of the mantras related to the mandala deities, the recitation of each of the mandala deities. Tantra refers to petals etc. The lord refers to each mandala deity, through the letters that follow them. Writing oneself is to mark with one's own symbols, reciting with the five nectars, grains, and clothes etc., and placing them in the various places as described above with one's own union.
