Generally speaking. Generally speaking. Now, in order to lead the listeners in, the five aspects such as statement will be explained. Without them, they will not enter, so composing the treatise would be meaningless. Among them, the fifth step is called the statement of the treatise. The Vajra recitation, etc., which one wishes to manifest as the object to be proven, is what should be stated. There is a connection between them that is characterized by method and what arises from method. The purpose is to attain the state of non-abiding nirvana from the complete solitude of speech. The further purpose is to make all beings into that nature, which is the condensed meaning of the fifth step. First of all, the teacher who composes the treatise composes the prostration to dispel obstacles for the deity he desires. Because prostration is the characteristic of remembering the nature of the Bhagavan Great Vajradhara. By the distinction of returning and not returning, it is the virtuous Dharma arising from the mind that is truly gathered by the faculties and powers. Obstacles are the true gathering of the ten non-virtuous deeds, such as harming. These virtues and non-virtues are contradictory because they have the characteristic of not coexisting. If the side of virtue becomes excellent, then the obstacles will naturally be pacified by the nature of the side of non-virtue, which is the reason for the perception of contradiction. For example, there is no cold touch here, because the characteristic of fire itself exists. This prostration is also of three kinds: concordant, manifestly desired, and possessing both. Among them, concordant is not what the author desires, but only the reasoning of the treatise. For example, what is in accordance with the Pratimoksha vows is the first of the Bhikshu's Karikas, the prostration, that is, "the land of glorious perfection," and so on, prostration to the Bhagavan who is free from attachment. Among them, the teacher Shakya Light has the tutelary deity Manjushri and so on. Manifestly desired is what the author manifestly desires, but is not in accordance with the scriptures. For example, Lord of the World.

Pola, etc., is the salutation of the commentary on the Garland of Light. That is the tutelary deity of the author of the treatise, not just the one who has attained reason. The one with two natures is the treatise and its author, both of which are in accordance. For example, in the practice method of Samantabhadra, homage is paid to Manjushri Vajra. That is in accordance with the practice method for the purpose of practicing Manjushri, and also when composing the treatise, he is the tutelary deity. Here too, there are two natures, because the noble Nagarjuna only practiced the great Vajradhara, and also from the treatise, he is to be accomplished. In order to explain him, (it says:) Protector, the nature of all sentient beings, glorious great bliss, I salute, following the yoga tantra, I will explain the order of vajra recitation. It is said that the order of vajra recitation will be explained, which means that the order will be divided and shown separately. After doing what? The Bhagavan Great Bliss is to salute Vajradhara, that is, to prostrate with body, speech, and mind. What is the Bhagavan like? It is called the Protector, that is, the master of the five Tathagatas. Furthermore, it is called glorious, glorious is the two accumulations, whoever has it is glorious. Therefore, it is a collection with the same basis. And what is it like? It is called the nature of all sentient beings, all sentient beings are the differences of the four types of sentient beings, their nature is the nature of Dharma, that is how it is. The order of vajra recitation is eleven types, which will be explained below. Following the yoga tantra, here the great sound should be seen externally, therefore it means following the great yoga tantra, that is, the glorious Guhyasamaja. Here, self-creation is prohibited, this is the meaning of the words. Similarly, great bliss is in the state of great bliss, vajra and lotus enter equally, in order to subdue the sentient beings of the desire realm in the center of the mandala.
