It is also spoken by himself. The so-called "speaking" means teaching. The so-called "holding various" means being able to accommodate various things. The so-called "illusion net" and so on, refer to its other names. The so-called "this word" and so on, do not refer to a place, but to any scripture. The so-called "these" and so on. The so-called "how many" means as many as the sands. The so-called "studying" means abiding in the clear light samadhi. The so-called "dual union meditation place" refers to abiding in the order of the teachings. The so-called "non-duality with it" refers to the order of manifesting enlightenment, and those manifested here. In order to teach that, therefore, it is said "how self" and so on. Similarly, the same effect is produced for the sound. Gravel is a fragment of stone. Excrement is an unclean thing. The so-called "produced from excrement" refers to the odor produced from unclean things. The so-called "fierce" and so on. The so-called "Vajradhara thus" refers to the Buddha. The so-called "like a dream" refers to the state of sleep. The so-called "seeing" refers to the state of being awake. The so-called "hatred" means extreme hatred, to be treated like a son. The so-called "thus" and so on, if known, refers to what is called dual union. The so-called "conduct" refers to behavior. The so-called "hidden asceticism" refers to holding the image of a madman, free from all signs. The so-called "all perfections" refers to the perfect bliss of the wheel-turning king of the three realms. Of the five stages of the transformation of the minds of the noble ones, who can understand that? Even so, I wrote these down, remembering the words of the guru. Through the distinction of the fifth stage, whatever merit is accumulated here, may all beings be transformed to abide in the state of dual union! The Difficult Explanation of the Stages of Dual Union, written by the great scholar Vow Vajra, is completed. The Indian Abbot Krishna Pandita and the translator Bhikshu Discipline Victory jointly translated, revised and finalized it. Commentary on the Five Stages. Damtshig Dorje (Vow Vajra).
