Then why is that? The nature of space is sound, the essence of space is the essence of sound. Why is that? Because as soon as it is recognized, the sound immediately disappears, it is impermanent and cannot be grasped. What does it become after disappearing? It truly abides in the nature of space and becomes emptiness. So, although letters are the nature of space, they are not abiding, that's what is thought. All dharmas are equal to space, like space they have no self-nature. Absence of discrimination is separation from discrimination. It is not something to be discriminated, because it is non-dual. So, is sound also not produced? The absence of self-nature is also expressed by the symbol of sound, therefore, what is expressed is sound. What expresses what, expresses sound. So, is it not the same as space? Expression is also a name, just an illusion. What will that become? Thoroughly understanding expression in this way is understanding that sound itself is the same as space. For any dharma, non-attachment is because it is not established as object and subject, and is separated from their aspects. What will non-attachment become? It will not be distracted, because it does not grasp all objects. What will non-distraction become? It will not cycle, it will be liberated from the suffering of birth, old age, sickness and death. What will non-cycling become? It will not be separated, it is inseparable from nirvana. The others are easy to understand. Enduring emptiness and the person means being separated from the aspects of emptiness and the person. So, just the person itself, or there is no place to abide other than it, because it is emptiness. Why is that? Because the nature of characteristics is without characteristics, because it is empty from the beginning. The nature of dreams is without aspiration, which means that being separated from the form of dreams, etc., is like being separated from the beginning. The others are easy to understand. So, if all dharmas are completely produced and completely pure, then, after attaining the Dharmakaya, benefiting all sentient beings, and serving and making offerings to me, etc., will become meaningless? Although all dharmas are emptiness that is naturally pure, benefit and offerings, etc., will still exist, and from where is that known?

It is said to be connected from what is said in the Sutra Showing Entrance into All Dharmas. "Son of the Gods" refers to being called with praise of qualities preceding it. Because of entering the manifestation of sound, entering means entering the conduct of a Bodhisattva. The rest is easy to understand. As for dispelling doubts about the compilation of verbal seclusion, it is for the sake of severing doubts about wind and mantra and its nature, as well as the difference of fruit and person, ability, karma and qualities, and its lineage and sutras, and reason, etc., which are not established, and those that have become doubts. Whoever has it, he is called that. This is the explanation of the third chapter of the Commentary on the Lamp for Compiling Conduct. Chapter Three: Dispelling Doubts about the Compilation of Verbal Seclusion.
