Abridged Commentary. Abridged Commentary. In Sanskrit: Pañcakramamatīṭīkācandraprabhānāma. In Tibetan: The Commentary on the Five Stages Called "Moonbeam." Homage to glorious Vajrasattva! To sever the suffering of the heart's knot that is difficult to untangle, so that beings may be touched by the drops of speech of the supreme, non-dual nectar of the Son of the Able One, the fortunate, fearless one will strive. Here, the glorious and noble Nāgārjuna, following the tantras such as the glorious Guhyasamāja, realizes the samādhi of union in accordance with the order. Out of great compassion, he intends to show it, so how the meaning of the five stages is established. Therefore, homage is paid to the Bhagavan Vajrasattva, who is to be practiced, who is called the three realms, etc. Here, the first stage shows the isolation of the body, and the second is the isolation of speech, for the sake of the isolation of the mind. The mere isolation of the mind is said to be the second stage. The third and fourth, with the nature of the conventional and ultimate, the mind is isolated. The fifth, because the two truths are inseparable, the ultimate is the complete isolation of the mind. Because it is included in it, the body and speech are also isolated. Why is it that the ultimate of the body is the two, the complete enjoyment body and the emanation body? Speech is the complete enjoyment body, because in the secret mantra vehicle, the enjoyment body is established as the nature of speech. These body and speech are also merely manifestations of the mind. As it is said, generate the mind like a body, and the mind like speech. The mind is also the nature of great bliss, the nature of qualities such as direct perception, power, and non-contamination, and is also conventional truth, and because it is without nature, it is also ultimate truth, that is, union. This is what is meditated upon by the practitioner of superior faculty. In the shrinking process, as in the first stage, the nature of meditating on the deity's form gradually or suddenly enters and rises into clear light, and the vajra recitation and the speech recitation at the time of shrinking should also be practiced. If these two are taken into account

The Vajra recitation as spoken is extensively explained by the second stage. It is said that those with moderate intelligence are said to have perfected the yoga of instantaneous perfect wisdom. In an instant, the nature of illusion is said to be the nature of the deity's body, which is gradually or suddenly absorbed into the clear light and arises. This is because one first enters with the name of self-blessing in order to meditate on the second and third deities of the complete enjoyment body of relative truth. After that, one should meditate on the inseparability from the relative truth. However, since it is not possible to accomplish by meditating only on that nature, one should enter into the absence of self-nature, which is established as if it were a different entity, and learn to arise in the manner of two different truths. The self-nature of the relative is the ultimate truth, which is naturally pure and is called clear light, but it does not exist as a different entity, so one should meditate on it as inseparable. However, by meditating only on that nature, all temporary obscurations will be completely exhausted, so knowing that one should diligently meditate on the part of clear light, one should learn the fourth stage and the first stage. Therefore, those with superior faculties meditate on the deities, enter and arise, stop the recitation, and diligently meditate on the part of emptiness, and in an instant, they perfect the continuous meditation on the union of the deity's body. Thus, these are the five stages of different individuals. Some think that only one person is small at first, so the meditation of the generation stage is the leader, so they enter the clear light and arise, and after becoming familiar with the first and second stages of recitation, their intelligence turns to the middle, and the deity's body appears in an instant, which is the third and fourth stages of entering and arising. From that extreme familiarity, the arising of the union into the deity's body is the fifth stage, which is the second establishment. In both cases, one should also accomplish the nature of the union, the Blessed One Vajradhara, as the nature of the four bodies in the secret mantra vehicle. Therefore, prostrating to him, he is liberated from the realm of the three realms, which is desire and
