Nature! Pure because it is free from the obscurations of afflictions and the obscurations of knowledge, or in order to take care of sentient beings, these manifest from the pure Dharmakaya, hence it is said so. Peaceful because of the characteristic of all suffering being pacified, or because it possesses the experience of peace. Extremely solitary because it is free from the conceptualizations of existence and nirvana. This supreme peace is the nature of being constantly stable, therefore it brings auspiciousness. The very nature of unborn, the yogi's mind must ascertain and realize, which is the Nirmanakaya. Therefore, it is not to be realized by the Shravakas and others. Difficult to understand because it is extremely profound, because its nature is the nature of single bliss. Because even suffering cannot be described and separately shown, it is difficult to speculate even after knowing it. It perfectly accomplishes the infinite benefit of oneself and others, therefore it is of great benefit to oneself and others. This also covers the obvious expression of one's own perfect benefit. In all the continuums of beings to be tamed, it appears separately in the same way. Wherever it disappears, all signs such as warmth are abandoned without remainder, that is without signs. Or, because it enters spontaneously, without the need for other causes, the Nirmanakaya that stabilizes the mind in an instant, manifests everywhere, so it is without signs. Prostration is bowing down. Body is the body. What are they? It is said that they are the Buddhas, because it clearly shows the words of the majority, so it is prostration to the bodies of the five Tathagatas. To whom do we prostrate? It is spoken of in the continuum in an aggregated manner, so it is prostration to bliss, because it has the nature of the four emptinesses. Unequaled equality is: all emptiness is unequaled, equality is its nature. Or, the unequaled are the Buddhas. The equality they possess is the same. Therefore, the non-conceptual body is one, non-conceptual is being free from conceptualization.

Oṃ! The one is without a second. The body is that which is adorned with thirty-two marks and so forth. Now, I will speak of the expresser, the expressed, and the purpose. The words beginning with "Glorious" are spoken. The substance of many verses of the tantra, gathered into one mass, is concise, and because it is very small, it is abbreviated. Its order is the sequence. I shall explain it, that is, I shall show it. Benefiting all sentient beings is wanting to manifestly benefit the world, which is Buddhahood itself, and to bring it forth is to manifest it. "Here" means thus and thus. In order to distinguish it from other tantras, it is said, "By this Glorious Compendium Tantra." To gather is to assemble, that is, the thirty-two deities are assembled into one. Or it means emptiness and compassion. The later statement of gathering is also: "Gathering is well spoken of as union; all Buddhas manifest." "Glorious" means that which possesses worldly and transworldly perfections, hence it is called glorious. "Tantra" is the characteristic of a continuous stream of texts, and it is also the Glorious Compendium Tantra. Thus the words are arranged. Because it is difficult to understand, one must comprehend the meaning of these six limits, namely, direct and definitive, intention and literal, non-literal and non-intentional. For those who do not fully understand the meaning of the six limits, I will elucidate the lamp of the Glorious Compendium Tantra, that is, the explanation of the meaning of these six limits. For those of bad fortune, the Victorious One has abandoned, and thus the meaning of directness is spoken. In order to fully show the true meaning, the meaning of definitiveness is also spoken. For those sentient beings who desire the supreme, the very nature of the Dharma is fully shown. That which is spoken with contradictory combinations of words is the explanation of intention. Maṇḍalas and so forth, and the collection of thoughts, how the conduct is, the meaning is explained in detail, that is spoken of as literal. Words such as koṭi, etc., are external to worldly treatises. The Thus-Gone-One.
