Ba is a term used in the context of being established in the Completion Stage. For example, the term "Seeing Reality" means that through the correct view, negative views such as permanence, annihilation, and transference are ceased. However, it is necessary to practice pure transference based on terminology. This means that the aggregates, etc., do not transfer to another world, because that would lead to the fault of permanence. The other world does not arise solely from something other than death, because that would lead to the fault of causelessness. For example, one cannot say that a flame from a flame, a bell from a bell, or an echo from a sound is the same as or different from the original. Therefore, in the Sutra of Golden Light, it is said: "The Buddha does not pass into Nirvana, and the Dharma does not perish. For the sake of taming sentient beings, Nirvana is shown." And in the Lankavatara Sutra, it is said: "Here, by any cause, there is no birth and no cessation. Only the imputed causes arise and cease." Therefore, with this reasoning, the Bhagavan Shakyamuni, having done all that was to be done, showed the approach to Nirvana. Similarly, one who has realized the Completion Stage, having done everything, should not hesitate about passing into Nirvana in the world. Therefore, knowing reality, even if one has not practiced as described due to incomplete conditions, dying having abandoned all views is the truth of ultimate truth, and birth is the truth of conventional truth. Having truly realized this, entering the clear light in the central channel, abandoning the ordinary aggregates, one should generate a firm mind, saying, "I will arise with the order of blessing myself." If one abides by focusing on this, then in the next life, one will not abandon that focus, and therefore one will become omniscient. Therefore, "By whatever thought people's minds are truly joined, by that, its nature changes, like various jewels." Thus it is said. Therefore, all of these should be completely transformed into something special.

Therefore, it is transforming, and a special result will occur. Here it is said: What is called birth is the conventional truth, and the name of death is also the ultimate truth. Obtaining these two, by the grace of the Guru, obtaining these two, the future is the Buddha. The union of these two truths, without explanation, they have no difference. Two people are ultimately one, knowing this, here bound and liberated. If someone falls from the peak of the mountain king, even if unwilling to fall, they will fall. By the grace of the Guru, obtaining beneficial teachings, even if unwilling to be liberated, they will be liberated. In the world, the suchness of meaningful words, beings do not have the ability to realize, like sesame oil drops scattered by strong winds on the great sea. Therefore, I have slightly extracted and collected, ultimately with conventional truth fear, as a lamp in the minds of the fortunate. The extremely concise summary of practice, cutting off doubts, is the eleventh chapter. 《A Lamp Summarizing Practice》, written by the great scholar Aryadeva, is complete. Translated, edited, and finalized by the Indian Abbot Śrāddhākaravarma and the editor-translator Bhikṣu Rinchen Zangpo. Chapter Eleven: The Extremely Concise Summary of Practice, Cutting Off Doubts.
