Chapter Eleven: Cutting Doubts by Summarizing Extremely Unelaborate Conduct. Chapter Eleven: Cutting Doubts by Summarizing Extremely Unelaborate Conduct. Now, let us embark on extremely unelaborate conduct. As stated in the tantras: "In extremely secluded mountains, or at riverbanks and flowing water places, or in cemeteries and such places, this concentrated meditation should be practiced." Therefore, to prepare food, one should practice subjugating yaksha women and the like in places that accord with the spirit of the scriptures. Alternatively, having prepared only the food for the best of practice companions or a large gathering, one should enter into extremely unelaborate conduct in this order. The order is as follows: First, the practitioner should remember the suffering of beginningless samsara and, desiring the bliss of nirvana, should completely abandon all busyness, and even contemplate the notion of suffering in the power of royal dominion. Second, one should abandon the mind that grasps even sesame seeds as real. Third, with faith in the ultimate truth, one should have no regard even for body and life. As it is said in the Samadhiraja Sutra: "Son of good family, therefore, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who desires this samadhi and wishes to quickly attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment should have no regard for body and life." Similarly, one should not seek worldly minor siddhis and the eight great siddhis, for they cause distraction and regression. As it is said in the Great Yoga Tantra called Uncommon Secret: "Then, furthermore, in order to attain the siddhi of omniscience, one should not seek any siddhi whatsoever. One should not seek worldly mantra siddhis, subjugation siddhis, good vase siddhis, underground siddhis, royal dominion siddhis, increasing siddhis, controlling siddhis, and magical performance siddhis. Why is that? Because..."
