Chapter Nine: Cutting Doubts, a Summary of the Play of Manifest Enlightenment Arising from the Dharma, the Conduct of Bodhisattvas, Great Beings. Chapter Nine: Cutting Doubts, a Summary of the Play of Manifest Enlightenment Arising from the Dharma, the Conduct of Bodhisattvas, Great Beings. The Vajra disciple requested: "How should a yogi, wishing to learn the perfection of omniscience, abide in the causal state, having received the guru's permission to completely cut off the realization of suchness through the nature of hearing and thinking, with the sequence of results? How should they meditate? How should they practice the conduct of asceticism? Please, Bhagavan Vajra Acharya Teacher, prophesy and teach!" The Vajra Acharya said: "Great being, well done, well done! It is good, good that those who have obtained the special cause, whose diligence blazes, and who have no regard for body and life, having completely turned away from clinging to their own form in this very life, and who wish to perfect the fruit of the eight powers of qualities, ask questions in order to dispel their doubts. For those who wish to be liberated by eliminating clinging to things, I will explain to you in order the pure meditation and pure conduct, listen! Here, the two truths are non-dual, so cause and effect are also non-dual. Because cause and effect are non-dual, what is attained and what is to be attained are also non-dual. Because what is attained and what is to be attained are non-dual, meditation and what is to be meditated upon are also non-dual. In non-duality, the accomplisher, the accomplishment, and what is to be accomplished do not become objects of focus. Because it does not become an object of focus, what should one meditate on? Who should practice conduct? Those who learn by thus distinguishing, and those who are completely perfect, are no different. Nirvana is in the dharma that is seen, and what is done is also that. That is why it is said. However, when the distinction of states is attained, cause and effect also appear in the world. Otherwise, there would be the fault of being without a cause.

it will become a fault. Therefore, in the stage of learning, whether the actions of the meditator, the meditation, the object of meditation, as well as the practitioner, the practice, and the object of practice, exist or not, do not hesitate. Here, the practitioner is the realization of the conventional truth, the practice is the ultimate truth, and the object of practice is non-dual wisdom. Therefore, fully understanding how to make cause and effect non-dual is explained here as meditation itself. As it is said in the Tantra of All Secrets: "The fruit nourishes the cause, and the cause also nourishes the fruit. Other than meditation, accomplishment will not occur even in hundreds of thousands of kalpas." The explanation of the complete purification of conduct: After realizing non-dual wisdom, whether in a state of meditative absorption or not, one becomes non-dual. If there is no duality, then who would perform these actions? Just as there is no agent, there is certainly no action, which is certain in the world. Furthermore, without the conduct of vows (Vrata), one cannot exhaust the habitual tendencies of beginningless afflictions. This is what is said in the scriptures and is known in the world. As it is said in the Guhyasamaja Tantra: "The great king Vajrasattva should be urged again and again." And as it is said in the Secret Accomplishment: "If the eight-limbed practice is abandoned, who will abandon the assembly of samsara? Always with a diligent mind, one should practice the supreme Vajra heart. Regret, sleep, and drowsiness, etc., should be diligently abandoned. Otherwise, even in hundreds of thousands of kalpas, it will not be accomplished even a hundred times." Therefore, by abiding in the signless samadhi, abandoning the power of the habitual tendencies of beginningless afflictions, those who desire to obtain the spontaneously accomplished fruit, if they engage in conduct, should abandon the thought of "whether to engage or not engage" and overcome the eight worldly concerns, and engage in the yoga practice as described above. Therefore, that truly authentic conduct should be from the guru's...
