Chapter Five: Extensive Explanation of the Supreme Conduct. Chapter Five: Extensive Explanation of the Supreme Conduct. Beginning with "Two Stages," the explanation of Chapter Five will be undertaken. In this, the first chapter shows the deity's form in two aspects. The second chapter shows only the ultimate truth. The third chapter shows the conventional truth as the nature of the deity's form. The fourth chapter shows the mandala of the heart as the nature of conventional and ultimate truths. By meditating in this way, one fully realizes the two stages, that is, realizes the two stages. "Also by obtaining empowerment" and so on, refers to the sequence spoken of in Chapter Four. "Because without conduct, it will not be accomplished" means that by abandoning the three aspects of conduct, including elaboration, the yogi will not attain accomplishment, this is the meaning. Because by gradual meditation and familiarization, one will attain the unsurpassed state. Conduct is the cause, and it makes the thusness that is the result become small. It should be obtained through familiarization, not through nature. What is the use of the practice of familiarization? The nature that is already accomplished from the beginning. That itself is naturally accomplished, not born from conceptual thought. If one abandons the stages of wisdom, who would speculate in this way? Because they do not understand its distinctions, they will again learn those things as before. This initial world, in order to enter from the ultimate truth, this method is spoken of by the perfect Buddha as like a series of stairs. Because it is said so. "All the Tathagatas" and so on, refers to the body Vajradhara and others. "Having the nature of body, speech, and mind" and so on, refers to the glorious Vajrasattva who gathers everything together. Regarding this, the lineage is taught as eight forms, briefly it is five forms. Through the distinctions of body, speech, and mind, from the outside it becomes three forms. It appears in this way. Precisely because of this, because he is the lord of them, he is the king, that is, the lord of the three realms. "Because he manifests accordingly in the underworld, on the earth, and in the heavens," refers to abiding in the heavens, on the earth, and in the underworld.

Because of striving to subdue the realm of sentient beings on earth, it is called a teacher. Understanding the worldly gods such as Vishnu and Maheshvara is because of attaining the five superknowledges. The so-called Shravakas, etc., refer to the Shravaka Vehicle, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas. The so-called transcendence of the world is because of attaining the six superknowledges. Alternatively, since the view of the side with self and the side without self is the main one, it is the worldly and the transcendent. Alternatively, it is because of having harm and not having harm. Because they are subdued by miracles and so on, it is said that burning and manifestation, etc., are the miracles of the body, teachings, etc., are the miracles of speech, and concentration, etc., are the miracles of mind, and they are subdued by these. As it is said: The depth of the ocean cannot be fathomed, it is as difficult to find as the trace of a bird. When your wisdom is deep, you will see the bottomless and the other shore. When your teachings manifest, all dharmas are unshakable, like the steadfastness of the earth, and also like the tender shoots of a tree. So it is said. The so-called self and others, of which the self-assembly refers to the aforementioned Shravakas, etc. The other assembly refers to the Samkhya school, etc. Their behavior refers to the behavior of selflessness in persons and dharmas, and the nature of the existence of Purusha, etc. Knowing the supreme Dharma means having supreme qualities. For the sake of the meaning they seek, it is meaning. Then it is holding the activity. Thus, what is desired by oneself and others is the meaning of the Blessed One, the Great Vajradhara. Among them, due to the encouragement of the wheel of light of the Buddhas, heretics and Shravakas, etc., will also attain complete and perfect enlightenment, because: Having accumulated the accumulation of merit, he will also lead the world. So it is said. All those who desire liberation should also pray to the all-knowing one, because heretics and Shravakas, etc., all desire the all-knowing one. The mind should be fully engaged, but should not be engaged in action.
