Those who study the deity yoga that is fully examined by the Vajra sequence or the sequence of the arising of existence, also individually realize the completely pure deity yoga that transcends all realizations. The realm of the Buddhas, abiding at the top of a heap of jewels. Separated from the extremes of existence and non-existence. Not the realm of those who follow letters and logicians. It is to be known only from the oral instructions of the guru. Such is the suchness of the deity, the Tathagata has completely passed into nirvana, and in the future when the collectors such as Vajrapani have also disappeared, who will show this truly spoken teaching of the Buddha without interruption? How will it enter the minds of the beings to be tamed? It is said: This future event is from the Lankavatara Sutra. What Bodhisattva Manjushri asked the Tathagata will be shown here: Not the realm of logicians, the wisdom of self-realization, in the future, who will hold the protector? It is said. After the Sugata's passing into nirvana, when the times have passed and arisen, who will hold and show the teaching? Great wisdom, you should know. In the land of Beta in the south, a monk named Palden, whose name is called Naga, in the world, holding the extremes of existence and non-existence, my teachings in this world, after well explaining the unsurpassed Great Vehicle, having accomplished the Extremely Joyful Ground, he will go to Sukhavati. By this sequence, although the Tathagata has completely passed into nirvana, as long as the sacred Dharma remains in the world, relying on the scriptural authority of the Great Yoga Tantra of the Vajrayana, the completion stage is to be realized in the order of the generation stage. Starting from the presence of the great teacher Nagarjuna, like a treasure, the teachers, in the order of the lineage, from the presence of the guru, those who secretly gather, enter and transfer to the tantra that becomes a Buddha in this very life. Thus, the great teacher, the glorious Nagarjuna, having attained the meaning of himself, individually self-realizing Vajra.

After the great Vidyadhara's Samadhi was shown in the world, surpassing the bliss of gods and humans, surpassing the bliss of meditation and absorption of heretics, Shravakas, and Pratyekabuddhas, having obtained the supreme of all forms of the Tathagata's body, which is free from birth and death, the body that cannot be satisfied by seeing, adorned with all the Buddha's qualities such as the ten powers and fearlessness, he went to Sukhavati and resided with a hundred qualities of power. Thus, eliminating the discriminations of prophecies and non-prophecies, by knowing the essence, one should definitely determine the boundaries of this life and the next. Now, I will briefly summarize the scriptures, such as "Thus I have heard," having heard the seven transmissions of the complete Tantras and the manner of explanation, having understood the meaning, principles, and nature of reality, with the initiation of the two stages preceding, having truly explained to the listeners, the purpose of the composition is completely fulfilled, and showing the complete fulfillment of one's own vows, is the summary, therefore, it is said, "Thus it was spoken." The Guhyasamaja Tantra was thus spoken, taught by the great Vajradhara, the great bliss. Entering with the secrets of body, speech, and mind of all Tathagatas as the main focus, wherever the gathering of secrets is the assembly, in the king of the Guhyasamaja Tantra, the vows of all Tathagatas and, the chapter called the King of First Vajra Blessings, all Tathagatas are Vairochana and so on. The vows of these are the five, such as protecting the meaning of practice. The discipline is to diligently practice, the five Tathagata families and so on. That is non-dual and cannot be surpassed, therefore it is Vajra. The King of Blessings of that Vajra is the great holder, the nature of all lineages, the first Buddha without beginning or end, the form of the great knowledge being, the body of wisdom, the nature of self-luminous, the nature of the three realms, the lord of the three bodies.

......of self-nature. Possessing the self-nature of the Three Vehicles. Possessing the self-nature of the Three Times. Possessing the self-nature of the Three Vajras. Possessing the self-nature of the Two Truths. Thus and so on, the names of the Sixth Tathagata are infinite. The complete collection of scriptures that explain them is called a chapter because it is like clothing, as before. The Yoga Tantra of the Bliss-Gone One's extremely subtle speech, what is said to be the definite understanding of being free from the six extremes? That is the eye that sees it, merely the deity of letters, like wanting to see the moon, it is the same as looking at the tip of a finger. Furthermore, what are the six extreme paths that the victorious noble beings have separately explained? Whatever completely distinguishes this and the tantric methods, having explained the ultimate of the tantra. By whatever merit I have obtained, may this extensively explained lamp remain for a long time, and may beings be endowed with the supreme state of bliss, the wisdom of the moon. In the extensive commentary called "Illuminating the Lamp," the seventeenth chapter speaks of the six extremes. The extensive explanation of the secret union of all the body, speech, and mind of all the Tathagatas, called "Illuminating the Lamp," relying on the oral instructions of the great Acharya Nagarjuna, was completed by Acharya Chandrakirti. The Indian Abbot Śrāddhākaravarma and the revising translator, Tsawa Geshe Rinchen Zangpo translated, revised, and finalized it. After the Indian Abbot Śrījñānākarava explained it, the Tibetan revising translator Gö Lhetsé checked, borrowed, and sought it. Again, later, in front of the great Indian Paṇḍita Krishnacharya, the Tibetan translator Gö Lhetsé compared it with the Central Tibetan version and corrected it. Seventeenth Chapter: Explanation by the Six Extremes of Vows and Precepts.
