It is said that this, filled with the qualities of having four corners, etc., is superior to all mandalas, and this should be well and excellently explained. A cubit is measured as sixteen fingers. This refers to relying on the four corners, and it should be known that each side is four cubits. This is a flat square, not a circle. By approximating a square, it also includes the four doors, etc. Extremely beautiful means with immaculate colors. How is it? Like the mandala of all Buddhas. It is said that it is praised by all Tathagatas. The Vajra of the body dwells well. The Vajra of the body is Vairochana, who dwells well and is adorned by the Lord himself. That refers to the wheel within the square mandala, which is round and adorned with a garland of wheels. How is it? It should be drawn with the Vajra ritual. It is said that the ritual is the ritual for drawing the lines of the mandala as described in the Compendium of Principles. That is the Vajra, and it should be drawn with what is known by those with extremely firm conviction. After drawing the mandala in this way, in the center of the mantras, in the center of the deities, where Vairochana dwells, is the position of the hand seal Vajra. It is said that the form of the deity with its own hand seal is made. Akshobhya and others are also drawn alone in the eastern directions, etc. The supreme Vajra of body, speech, and mind. The supreme Vajra of body, speech, and mind refers to the eyes, etc. All the corners should be arranged. It is said that in the southeast and other corners, they should be drawn appropriately. Wrathful deities are Yamantaka, etc., who cannot be overcome by others, as well as Hayagriva, nectar fire offerings, etc., and they should be placed at the four doors. The mighty one who overcomes others refers to Akshobhya and others, who should be drawn in the corners. The form Vajra and Maitreya, etc., should also be placed according to their positions. The one who knows mantras is the Acharya, who cultivates the Vajra secret well. It is said that the offering of the Vajra and lotus truly united is made in the center of the mandala with one's own hand seal.

Therefore, this act is a ritual. The "all" of all mantras refers to the practitioners. The samaya is that which abides in the Yoga Tantra. That which is extremely difficult to transgress is not to be transgressed. Excrement and urine, etc., are called the five ambrosias. Specifically, in this body mandala, they must be offered and consumed together. Thus, consuming the five ambrosias is the body vajra, it is the samaya of all the mantras that possess the body mandala, of all the practitioners, and it is not to be transgressed. This is the body mandala in which all the Tathagatas manifestly rejoice. From "then" etc., the great Vajradhara spoke of the ritual of the speech mandala. The samaya of all speech vajras is that of the Amitabha mandala. Their clouds are the assemblies. Its arrangement is to properly place it as it is, abiding in the samadhi called "that." This speech vajra mandala, which refers to extracting from the body etc. of the collection of words itself of that meaning, is to show that. The meaning from "then" etc. has already been explained. One cubit is the length of twenty fingers. It is said that lines of five cubits are drawn on each side. "By contemplating the vajra" means with a thread having the colors of the five Tathagatas. "Its center" means that in the center of that square mandala, the great wheel is the main one. "Draw it round in all directions" means to draw it round and decorate it with a string of lotuses, and in that mandala, all the mudras should be completely drawn. "According to the ritual" means being skilled in the ritual. If asked "how," it is "the great mudra of Amitayus," which means that it is completely in accordance with one's own mudra and placed in its center. In "the vajra place" etc., "the vajra place" refers to the body and mind mandalas, in which all the arrangements of the Tathagatas are to be completely observed and placed. "According to the ritual" means to completely and clearly manifest the mandala with the ritual described in the tantra.
