Chapter Eleven. Explanation of the Generation of Mantra Body and the Generation of Wisdom Body through Six Extremes. Chapter Eleven. Explanation of the Generation of Mantra Body and the Generation of Wisdom Body through Six Extremes. Thus, having explained the two types of arousing the essence of the two yogis, in order to clarify what was said in the first chapter about the two deity bodies of the conceptual and perfect yogis, Chapter Eleven, starting with "Then," etc., was taught. The vajra of all Tathagatas is the three letters, Om, etc. The best of beings generated by it is the deity. Having placed the mind one-pointedly on the samadhi called by that name, entered into equipoise, and directly realized it, he spoke this. What is that? The secret vajra wisdom of the mantras of all Tathagatas is the three letters, Om, etc. By them, where a being is generated, that is, the chapter on generating the deity was taught, which is the word of the compiler. In order to indicate this meaning with the words of the Bhagavan, "Three Vajras," etc., were taught. The three vajras are the vajras of body, speech, and mind. The letters that generate them, Om, etc., are the three vajra letters. Since all mantras arise from them, they are the best of mantras, and one should properly meditate on the great mudra with them. The so-called great mudra is the most supreme offering below the earth, on the earth, and above the earth. Because of the offering, great joy arises, hence it is the great mudra. To properly meditate on it is to practice it. All bodhi is the five types of manifest enlightenment, that is, to attain it. Wisdom vajra is the practitioner, that is, what is done by him. By Om, etc., what is the function of the three letters? The letter Om is the essence of the Tathagata. By it, the indestructible body of the yogi is generated, therefore the vajra body is what can be attained. Bodhi is suchness. What is the nature of what arises as an illusion from it? That is selflessness, that is, immeasurable light. Its nature is selflessness, selflessness is the letter Ah.

Oh! Because its essence can generate the irreversible speech of yogis, Vajra Speech is attainable. The mind that arises from relying on body and speech is body, speech, and mind. Because it is irreversible with the three Vajras of the essence of immovability, what is non-difference is the three irreversible Vajras. Because the mind can generate the continuum of yogis, the three irreversible Vajras are attained. It is said in the scriptures, referring to the letter Hūṃ. The mantra person of all Tathāgatas' body, speech, and mind is the great Vajradhara. In order to gradually show the generation of the Great Seal just mentioned, it is said, "Space Vajra," etc. One should contemplate the center of Space Vajra, merging and abiding in the mandala born from all Vajras. The eyes of all Vajras, etc., are the four goddesses, and one should contemplate the mandala of their gradual generation. There, on that part of the earth, one should contemplate the letter Bhrūṃ as the cause of generating the palace. The Vajra Cloud is the assembly of Tathāgatas. To have special faith in them and to unfold as they are is to spread. Because it can generate and hold, the Vajra Cloud is the spreader and generator, which is the letter Bhrūṃ. "There" etc. shows the letter Bhrūṃ. The Vajra Mandala is the sun disc, and one should contemplate the letter Hūṃ abiding in its center, meaning one should contemplate the sun disc born from the letter Hūṃ. Similarly, one should also contemplate the moon disc and lotus disc born from the letters Oṃ and Āḥ. Having generated these three mandalas, one should properly place those three seed syllables on the center of the lotus. This is the oral instruction. By "Contemplate the place with the letter Bhrūṃ," etc., the meaning previously stated is determined. Similarly, having contemplated the basic mandala, one should contemplate the three signs, otherwise it is not. In "Essence," etc., "of the Buddhas of the three times" refers to the Tathāgatas of the three times. The essence is the moon.
